Nice 'pub grub' at reasonable prices. We ate here a couple of times whilst in the area on holiday. The food always arrived quickly. Portions were decent. All the meals were nice. The steak and chicken pies was particularly good. Good selection of deserts, all...More

We both enjoyed our meals here. The scampi was excellent along with the 'proper' chips. Steak pie was delicious as were the fresh vegetables. A nice welcome from the guy behind the bar. The service was quick and efficient. Would recommend you book especially at...More

Travelling back up north from southern Yorkshire coastal visit along the A171. We were surprised at the lack of 'All day' restaurants till we reached Burniston 4 miles north of Scarborough. The 3 Jolly Sailors was a slightly quaint, but pleasant surprise. Open all day...More

We often call here at lunchtime during the week. The place is always busy, which is a good sign. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food arrives promptly. Pensioners can enjoy an excellent meal for £5.00. Otherwise, meals average about £9.00. The scampi...More

I'm always one for having a dessert but this place had me beat. Ordered two meals from the specials board, food was with us in less than ten minutes. All staff were very polite and helpful. Meals fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Visited for dinner while in the area, good value traditional meals with generous portions, everyone enjoyed their choices. Service friendly and pleasant. Only criticism would be that there was only one vegetarian option on the whole menu, which was nice as it happens, but no...More

We visited recently. Good food and service and some well kept ales. I had the steak pie which was great, with proper pastry. Strange criticism, we had far too much veg, we couldn't get through half of it, what a waste. If you haven't been...More

Called in one lunch time for a meal, and selected the Gammon and Lasagne, from the smaller menu, only to be presented with a large gammon, with egg, chips, peas, tomato, and salad. It was exceptional value, and tasted great, as did the lasagne, which...More
