Recently visited for a friend's wedding. The hotel is beautiful and has many original features still in it. The bar wasn't too expensive which is nice for a wedding. The food was amazing - I had fish cakes, sorbet & chicken (no dessert, I was too full!) In the evening it was finger food and it was so good! Big... More

Went today with my mum for some food, both ordered beef stroganoff-we were expecting your traditional stroganoff but it was so far from that! The sauce was so sweet and had about twenty gherkins in it-Rank and couldn't eat it. Said it to the waiter who was snotty even taking our order and he said ohh well that's how we... More

We were staying at the Camper van site next door to this restaurant and on the way to town, the heavens opened. So we decided to call in here to dry off and have breakfast. We were delighted we did. The Breakfast food is totally delicious. We had the Eggs Benedict and the breakfast bap. The Eggs Benedict was priced... More

On arrival into an almost empty restaurant we request a table away from the main door as we were the accompanied by child with special needs. The individual in charge placed us right beside the main door. Making us feel most un-welcome. When we ordered out our food the service was very good but our chips were more like cubes... More

A bog-standard pan-European menu, rather like a Chef & Brewer or Harvester" but better quality. A little on the pricey side, to my mind, and some Irish-style offerings would have been more interesting. Very good service though.

We were recommended this restaurant by the Maple Lodge. Overlooking the pretty estuary just over the bridge from Wexford at Castlebridge, the garden and entrance to the hotel was lit by lots of lanterns which was a lovely touch. At first glance inside the restaurant, it looked similar to a Harvester or large chain. But that's where the similarity ended,... More

Nice restaurant at the hotel that seems to be popular beyond those who overnight there. Happaned to have outside barbeque going on that night which I enjoyed. Nice people behind the bar and very busy place. Thumbs up definitely.
