Best monkfish scampi I've ever had. The plaice was delicious too, the only problem being how to finish the portion! A very good choice.

Fabulous food, we had homemade soup and prawns for starter, monkfish scampi and burger for mains.....generous portions so no room for desserts. The fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked, highly recommended!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while returning to our B&B in Duncannon. We were more than pleasantly surprised to have found such great food! From the apps, main dishes, and desserts to the alcoholic beverages, everything was PERFECT! If you're in the area, make sure you treat yourself to generous portions of comfort food!

Not cheap. All food freshly prepared and worth the wait. Fresh fish everyday. The sevice is good and Mary prides herself giving good value. Large portions. If you can manage a sweet go for the home made crumble.

Our family of 8 visited tonight. The food was exceptional. Our group had the scallops, monkfish scampi, lemon sole, smoked salmon, sirloin steak and home made burgers. They were all fantastic Spuds were great too. When we mentioned to the owner that we had a coeliac in the group who hadn't had desert, she sent him away with a home... More

On the road between Wexford and Ballyhack ferry. Lots of signposts locally shouldn't be ignored. Local sourced fish a speciality with a good specials board depending on the catch. Evening booking is important as many tables were reserved at my early evening visit. Good parking area and a beer garden area suitable for casual outdoor eating. A large grass area... More

Description
The Hollow Seafood and Steakhouse restaurant has worked hard to earn an outstanding reputation for serving the freshest, top quality food, all locally sourced and prepared to the highest of standards. Our seafood is collected fresh from Duncannon and Kilmore Quay and our beef is locally reared.
Our menu is designed daily to make the most of the best in-season produce. As well as an extensive restaurant menu served from from 12pm to 9pm each day, we also provide snacks, sandwiches and childrens meals. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs on request. Our restaurant is so cosy and inviting that sometimes we can get quite busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead for the busier lunch and evening periods.
