Stopped by for a late lunch after our visit to Waterford Crystal. Munster bar is a couple of blocks from there and we were expecting that all we would get was a quick bite. Although it was 4:30 in the afternoon they were happy to serve us food from the main menu and were also able to arrange something for... More

We popped into this busy spot near the Waterford Crystal showroom to grab a quick lunch. The food from the 'carver'--buffet was so fresh and tasty, we stayed longer than planned. The eclectic decor makes the old structure very appealing.

Imagine this. It's windy, raining heavily, and the wind is trying to blow. After visiting Waterford Crystal (we now know why they cost so much...and worth it) we went looking for a place to eat. We ventured into the Munster Bar not expecting anything but a quick pub meal. What we experienced can be described as 'hitting the spot' but... More

We wanted somewhere reasonable to eat and drink and found Munster Bar as we walked through these back streets. The staff were very welcoming and the owner asked before we left if we enjoyed our meal and if everything was to our satisfaction, something that is rarely asked in the UK. Irish warmth was everywhere and as customers entered the... More

We stopped in here after touring the crystal factory and was recomended to by several of the workers. Found staff to be very friendly to us and even helped me make a phonecall to our B&B w/o any hesitation. Great food and drinks for all!

This pub is located about a block from the WATERFORD CRYSTAL production facility. We arrived just after 11am where many were arriving for lunch. Fantastic service. We had a light lunch of ham and cheese topped baked potatoes with a three-bite side salad. Very good!

Nice bar, good age group mix, pleasant atmosphere, not to noisy. If you fancy a night out without the noise, shoulder bumping or drink spilling as with some locations on the weekend, this is your location. One of my favourites in the city!!
