We were looking for somewhere to eat, in Ireland hotels have a seperate bar menu to their restaurant menu. We went to the bar and were very well treated by the bar staff. Food was excellent, highly recommend the Orchard Thieves apple cider to drink.

Our food was typical Irish food . . I had a pie and the crust was deliciously flaky. Our server was a young local girl and she was friendly, willing to answer questions, and had a great sense of humor. Quiet but solid place!

The Munster Bar was full of people on a wet Bank Holiday but the food and service were very good. The Seafood pie was top notch and served with great chips. Portion sizes were good particularly the fish and chips. Quirky seating arrangements didn't detract from the experience at all.

I went there with my family. The place was very quiet but I guess it's because we tend to eat lunch at about 2:00pm which is not typical of Ireland. Well I will tell you that the food was amazing. I ate fish and chips, which I had had a lot of being that this is Ireland and they have... More

Given the availability close by this would not be my first choice. The tables and chairs are squashed in and the layout is quite awkward. It also makes it difficult to watch a match in. It was not easy to get served as the bar staff don't look up. There were a few basic civilities missing i.e. "please" and "thank you"... More

There is much Authentic Irish cuisine to be had at the Munster Bar in downtown Waterford . I found this place during my visit on St. Patricks day . Great Atmosphere with Irish traditional Music , Adult Beverages and Pints of famous Porter Beer (Guinness) that go along with their famous all in one Roast Beef dishes . If you... More

We arrived at this bar for dinner after a one-hour walking tour of the Viking area. As part of a tour group, we had a set menu to choose from. I ate my first Irish Beef and Guinness Pie. It was OUTSTANDING!! Any I tried later during my trip did not stand up to this!! It is a very cozy... More

We popped into this pub as we wanted to experience the local pub culture, whilst watching a football match. The portions are large and my chicken caesar salad was ok. The others had burgers, which they enjoyed. I've had the pie previously but it was very stodgy.

Thank Saybre
