This restaurant is situated in the historic Hunt museum. Its location is magnificent looking out on the river Shannon. It has amazingly high ceilings; there is great space between tables whether we are here for a good tete a tete or a pleasant bite to...More

A deceptively simple, plain dining area with basic appointments disguises the excellence of the food. I've been here three or four times recently and the lunches are always freshly cooked, like home-made, and always piping hot & delicious. Today I had the lamb stew with...More

I ate lunch. Tasty baked salmon (small portion) came with potatoes. Just potatoes! Boiled semi mashed spuds and one tiny roast potato (inedible) . How boring can lunch be? I found out today.

It was wonderful to get to the Hunt Museum and this cafe is a great respite from standing or going back out into the busy streets outside.

After wandering through the Hunt Museum, we were hungry for lunch. The cafe fit the bill. We ordered soups, which came with brown bread. My husband also ordered a sandwich. Serving size were ample and the price was reasonable.

There nearing the end of what looked like a busy lunchtime. Some dishes had gone which is very understandable and a good sign. The location and setting is beautiful but there is a noise level greatly exacerbated by the chair legs on the floor, not...More

Bright and peaceful restaurant. It must be good if to sit outdoors in the summer. Self serve style, food was excellent. A good place after visit to the Hunt Museum. I would definitely come back try more different dishes again.

My wife and I - and her friends - are fairly frequent visitors to the Hunt Cafe. It is very well located and the staff, and owner, Helen, are really lovely people. Would always recommend to visitors to Limerick
