The food served was really tasty but the service was over 30min between courses and also between tables served. So some of group finished before others were served. Overall good though and enjoyable

Had a quick dinner here after a busy day. The beef stew was acceptable but not inspiring. Service was kind but not particularly engaged--I had the sense that they had just been through a very busy day.

My partner and I were out enjoying the beautiful weather at UL and stopped into The pavilion for a drink and a bite. We we have frequented here before we were surprised by the new menu and the little touches to bring a fresh feel...to the atmosphere. I had the burger which tasted divine and is obviously homemade. My partner had the Salmon Satay, which looked appealing and having sampled some, I myself will be back to order it. I also like the change from ordering at the bar to table service. I found the server to be attentive but not on top of us. Overall a great experience and will be back for more!!More

Went several times for lunch. Inconsistent quality of main course offerings. Counter service is fine, cashier service overloaded, not always to hand. Dessert offerings have taken a dive downwards. Had better offerings before, appearance of slip-shod provision. Attention to detail of staff sometimes questionable, to...do with training ?? Erratic provision means I can't rely on it. Dealing with a captive audience.More

My wife and I called into The Pavilion last night. Luckily for us our visit coincided with the launch of their new evening menu. There were lots of interesting new dishes to choose from and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals - I chose the...Goats Cheese Bon Bons to start and had the Fish & Chips to follow while my wife opted for the Superfood Salad and the Indonesian Salmon Satay. We couldn't fault any of the dishes - you could tell that all of the food was freshly prepared and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!  More

The carvery lunch is good. But I had a couple of not so good evening meals. The veg pasta sauce in particular was similar to a tin of spaghetti o’s.

Called in to the Pavillion after a lovely cycle out from Limerick city. unfortunately service is extremely poor and staff don't seem interested in serving customers. We witnessed a group of 3 people at the counter leave without been served. After 10 minutes at the...counter we decided to leave also.I know Sundays can be busy but what does it take to get a coffee or a beverage within a reasonable time.More

Got in here for late lunch, mid-week, and had a nice enjoyable experience, food was good, service good and layout is nice and fresh. Nice young student feel about the place. Very good standard.

We organised a major national conference for one day. The Pavilion have been marketing their conference services for some time and we decided to try them. At the outset we discovered that the AV facilities did not work properly. The projection was too small for...the size of the room (projector too close to the wall, or alternatively, wrong lens) and it was a plain wall not a projection surface. There was no audio cable, nor was there any sound reinforcement for the people presenting their work. The food was mediocre and the service abysmal.More
