We return over and over, even when not staying in Limerick. Today we had their seafood chowder - always a star. We also had the crab claws in broth - tons of garlic, flavor and crab claws cooked perfectly. Love their bacon cabbage rolls and burgers. Only disappointment - they took their honey glazed smoked salmon off the menu. :-(... More

Places like this make limerick. I left my phone behind the bar charging only realised hours later no problem staff had it for me the next day. The bbq wings are renowned as the best in Limerick. That night my friends had them. Every person in Limerick will tell you to try the bbq wings in The Curragower. Upstairs smoking... More

Eat here regularly and the food is good . It's pub grub not fine dining . The food is fresh and the chips are hand cut . The beer is excellent ! Try the Heverlee .. Service tries to do its best but it can get very busy so can be slow at peak times . That's when the beer... More

Food along with view and ambiance made this the best place for seafood the week we stayed in Ireland. Highly recommend the chowder.

We stopped in on a rainy September day and were met by very friendly staff. We were quickly seated and served an amazing seafood stew and parsnip chowder. Delicious, thick slices of brown bread and cold beer on tap. It's a quaint bar, dry, warm and welcoming. We would return in a minute!

Have eaten here a couple of times since moving to the limerick area. Found the food ok but very overpriced . Staff are not very friendly and didn't engage in any chat , were quite indifferent. Won't be returning.

Partially our fault as we went on a very busy evening after the Munster match on Saturday. We went in, asked at the bar as to whether there were any tables left so that we could get food. Bar staff told us first come first served to tables and that there were areas towards to back where there are tables.... More

Great chowder, and sitting on the patio enjoying the view with wonderful food!!! Adam was a great waiter that was especially helpful, giving advice on places to visit and how to maximize our short visit. I strongly recommend stopping by for a bite and wonderful view of the castle!

The Curragower would be one of my favourite pub's to visit in the city not only for their food, friendly staff and the ambience within. On my recent visit I sat for lunch along with my sister and nephew and I went for their chowder which they are renowned for.One thing that I did notice was that the female waiting staff I'd...
