Ordered a Lasagne and Vol-au-vent dinner. Always alarming when food comes out too quick. Had a microwave feel to it. Lasagne was the worst I have ever had, tiny, tasteless, overcooked, chewy and way overpriced. Chips were bland with a salad I was scared to...More

This place had plenty of character and a good vibe. Keep in mind we visited in January and had most of Ireland to ourselves!

We each had a steak that was tender and delicious with crisp fries plus it is open on a Monday in January and served food. Not an easy find that time of year.

The food was very bad and the beer also. The place is nice but the food is NOT good at all. The plate was chicken that smells and bad pre-cooked potatoes.

In the heart of Kilkenny, this bar and pub have been around a long time. Always busy but a fun stop for lunch, snack, or a beer in the patio out back. Good food!

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.
