This has a lovely historic feel which ties in with the history of kilkenny. The menu is very nice. Staff are friendly. Brilliant place to watch a sports game! Top class Beer garden

The Inn is a magnificent place, rich of history and old items. A part from that, the dinner haven't left to me much more. Service was quite good, kind but not professional; the meal was decent, but not good. The dessert (death by chocolate) instead was less than decent. Price not expensive and thats good, comparing it to the quality.... More

Stopped by here at the recommendation of our B&B host. Got there right in the middle of the Gaelic Football Championship and the place was hopping! We had a great time watching the game (which was very exciting!). When the game ended, in a tie, I might add, meaning they will completely replay the game in 3 weeks, we then... More

Our B&B hostess (River View B&B) Eimear, recommended a dinner at Kytelers Inn just across the river for a dinner and some real Irish music. Kytelers certainly has atmosphere and the music started at 6 m which was great for us. Our first night in Kilkenny was so much fun as we were seated in the Bar just across where... More

We had to check this place out because of the history of the witch legend. Interesting things to read inside and experience the cool atmosphere. Amazing to think of how old the building is! The food was pretty good, but the service was a bit slow. We just shared a sandwich.

The food was very good. We all had the local favorite, was like a chicken pot pie but way better. And the staff were great especially Adian.

When I saw the name 'Kyteler's' it swayed my decision on our Lunch venue. Sure its a famous pub in Kilkenny - and as a pub you'd not be disappointed - cosy corners and lots of old nick-knacks to look at but Don't eat here. Myself and my son (a chef) stopped in for Lunch and both ordered Homemade Steak... More

This is a place all visitors to Kilkenny should at least walk through and be sure to go to the lower level, basement, What a unique building and VERY old.
