We stopped by for a pint of brew in the old tavern. It was a cozy place with lots of history. We didn’t have any food just the liquid refreshment.

The atmosphere is good and the music and stories were entertaining. They need to work on the food a bit though. It was just OK and the Irish Stew was pretty greasy. Still worth a visit.

My husband and I went there to eat. I picked this place because of the age and history of the building. We happen to be there when there was music starting within 15 minutes of our arrival. We loved listening to the authentic Irish music....More

Really liked this place, looks great from the outside and inside had a great atmosphere. We got here quite late and there was a great live band on with a few people dancing. Was a fun experience on an otherwise relatively quiet night in Kilkenny.

The place is attractive, a large area with different rooms and a nice atmosphere. However, dinner was quite disappointing. I really expected more from the reviews. We had the Irish stew and a fish and chips. There was a generous serving and that's about the...More

The place looks nice, waiters are quite polite. The food is average and we were in a party of 8 and wouldn’t split the bill... guess in Kilkenny the timed stopped in the last decade

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.
