Lots of tourists come here as this is one of kilkenny's oldest pubs. The must try on the menu are the famous Kytelers Vol-au-vents. By far the tastiest option on the menu

We had a great dinner in a lovely irish atmosphere at Kyteler's. Although it was full of tourists, we enjoyed the good food and the live music (irish folk). The service was a little slow, but it was understandable since all tables were occupied.

This venue was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed! The history behind the inn is intriguing - witchcraft accusations, horrible punishments and so on! Live music - advertised on the door and on blackboards outside the inn, was great - local musicians, traditional music, very enjoyable. You need to get in early to be sure of a... More

We had our best pub experience at kyteler's inn. We started with dinner listening to tradition Irish music played by a 3 piece group. After dinner we went to the downstairs bar and listened to a great band playing Irish pub sing along music. At the end of their set, we went upstairs and listened to a band of two... More

The fish dinner was amazing. The fish was the size of the plate plus another piece on top. Super fresh and piping hot. Had crack there.

The food was delicious, I tried the traditional Irish stew and I wasn't disappointed, service was a little slow. The best part was listening to live music while enjoying dinner and drinks.

First time we stopped there was just because we were interested in looking around the old building but then were drawn in by the yummy looking food and the outdoor seating area which is second to none in Kilkenny. We've come back ever since. They serve lovely food, the staff are great craic and it's relaxing to sit down outside,... More

This restaurant was very Irish, the food was great, the chips fabulous. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. There was a two man band, the fiddler was unbelievable.
