We stopped here for an early dinner while traveling. Great staff, good wine list food variable. The mussels were super fresh and tasty and the duck was excellent. Pasta though was too salty and whilst I love garlic, it can overpower a meal. Seems like the food may vary based on reviews but the ambience and staff, and good when... More

Lunch of duck, mixed vegetables and white wine and my husband had pasta and salad. The pasta was attractive but not exceptional. The duck was pleasant but not exceptional. The restaurant is attractive and waiters attentive.

Quite simply excellent. Quirky little warren of a restaurant. The layout may be highledy piggedly but the food is on point and delicious. Try the Sole cooked on the bone with prawns - exquisite.

This is an extremely popular restaurant so I would really recommend booking. Dress is from casual through to very dressy. Anything goes. The food was excellent..... fresh and just the right portion size and for the type of restaurant not a stupidly high bill to finish with. Would I recommend or visit again..... Absolutely..... But I would book early.

Wowed by Rinuccini a few years back we didn't think twice about where to eat on a recent weekend in Kilkenny and once again we were not disappointed. The staff are just super, professional and courteous. The food is sublime from start to finish with a wine list to match every dish and every pocket. I started with the Mussels... More

We needed to eat before a concert and had not booked this restaurant. However, the staff fitted us in without us having to wait. We explained we were in a bit of a rush and our food ( fish as a main course) arrived promptly and beautifully cooked. Will certainly go back and not rush and enjoy the experience and food... More

World-class homemade bread with delicious tomato & basil soup , Lemon sole cooked to perfection , chocolate tart to go to war for , lively house wine ; Italian Chardonnay / Semillion [ no vanilla flavour ] complimented the fish superbly. All in all , a very civilised sojourn. The staff have that indefinable quality that no amount of dosh... More

A fantastic restaurant experience. This venue just oozed class from the decor to the seating to the top notch service. The food was consistently great across our party of over 20 people. The early bird has a great choice and at €30 is excellent value.

Had the early bird here for 11 people. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The menu was incredible for an early bird, basically a very good a la carte! So many good choices, deciding was tough. Everyone was delighted with what they got. My dessert was probably the nicest I've ever had. The salted caramel tart. Very reasonable... More
