My husband and I enjoyed the Early Bird Special, and found the food great value for money. It was a pleasant experience.

This restaurant is usually crowded. It is an easy walk from most of the hotels in town and located in city center. The food is very good. It pays to,sit in the back. It is a little quiter and you do not have the door opening and closing in front of you all of the time, plus the people passing... More

Service was awful. Very slow. Waitress got order mixed up and had to retake. Some got food before others. Restaurant seemed to get very busy but only 2 staff to deal with it who couldnt cope. Dessert was cold when it was suppose to be hot. Half the table got theirs warm. Food was delicious though when we did get... More

When in Killarney on a coach tour, we ate at this restaurant. As part of the experience we participated in a cooking demonstration given by Mary, one of the owners. It was very informative and in addition some of the items were on our menu. The food was great, our service was of high caliber and all of our group... More

Rude waitress, uncooked prawns in the Marie Rose (grey, transparent prawns) Salad with brown edges on lettuce. 9 people for my 25th Wedding anniversary; 3 left to get fed in chipper because they weren't offered an alternative to the raw prawn offering and were instead told that the chef had cooked them and if they didn't like them that was... We were given a private room within the restaurant so we could decorate it the way we wanted. We had a value menu for all with exceptionally high quality food. The staff were friendly and extremely efficient. We were not at all rushed and the staff offered advice on where to go within Killarney that would continue the fantastic night... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant while planning our trip to Killarney. Emailed with the folks at The Silver Fox regarding life threatening food allergies of two members of our party. After a detailed email conversation, we were assured they could safely feed everyone in our group. We arrived at the restaurant to a wonderful attentive staff awaiting in a beautiful restaurant.... I would highly recommend eating in the Silver Fox restaurant. I recently had a group of 22 people for a hen party in which I organized. The staff here are very helpful and friendly and the service was very quick for a table of 22 in which the food was delicious. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and would... More
