I ate here with my mom for dinner last night. Not only were both of our meals delicious (the Caesar salad, chicken tagliatelle, and chocolate fudge cake were all to die for), but the overall environment was great. The staff was extremely helpful and fun to chat with. Our waitress Sabrina was phenomenal! It's location was really interesting as well... More

Our family was in our final night in Killarney, and the five of us were in an open debate as to where to have dinner. We had been throughout the town the day before and through a cloudy Ring of Kerry tour earlier that day. We had had enough of wondering if we should follow a crowd into a busy... More

We booked a table for four and typically we arrived 15 minutes late. We were greeted and seated by Sabrina who remained our server for the evening. Her service was only outdone by the food. Fish Soup was top drawer as were the Fillet Steaks cooked to perfection with generous sides. We skipped on dessert but I think that was... More

Stonechat Cafe is a very interesting, somewhat eccentrically designed, Irish and European restaurant in Killarney. On a small lane jetting off the main street, it is centrally located yet also charmingly not on the main tourist strip. What is most incredible is the truly generous and nice staff. My girlfriend and I arrived late into the town and needed to... More

While the restaurants in the Main Street were full, capacity was better here. Very friendly staff. The fish and chips was not spectacular, but still more than satisfactory. I would be happy to return.

I found that many restaurants in Killarney are quite touristy. They are cozy but quite expensive for what you get and most of them have a similar meny. This place I liked compare to the other places I researched and visited in Killarney. Compare to the other places they have decent prices and some dishes that the others don´t have,... More

Forget the beaten track, this place is worth looking for. Exceptionally friendly bar staff. Atmosphere, ambience, mood - all 11 out of 10. Highly recommended.

You almost don't find it. It is in a side-street of one of the main street, therefore it is not so busy there. The food is great, but some waiters are a bit over-enthusiastic ( the american way)

Visited last fall, just now writing the review. The food was great as was the service! The atmosphere is very cozy and the two people I'm assuming we're the owners were a hoot. They seem like they really know what they're doing and you feel it. A little hidden, but definitely worth it!

Recommended by our tour guide, this was a great restaurant with excellent service. Their braised lamb was so tender, & my daughter who is gluten free had the most delicious fish & chips. Highly recommend if you need a place to eat in Killarney. Reasonable prices as well.
