Great food and good atmosphere. They handled our group with grace and cheer. I loved the lamb stew and the local brew.

A group of us ventured out after dinner and had a seemingly genuine pub experience--it was busy, lively and fun with great live music and a 5 minute walk from our hotel! If you are in the area and love music, you may love Murphy's!

We were disappointed in the quality of the food here. While the service was attentive and pleasant the food was mediocre. I had the stuffed lamb and it was not great. Two others had the cottage pie and thought it was decent but not as good as others. I am sure there are other better places in town.

Great pub near the city center with good food and great servers. The place is a great old pub with a good vibe.

Great, solid, honest, ethnic Irish food. Great taste, like good food should. No disguised sauce covered mediocrity here. Get the true taste of irelands great food culture... great ingredients, prepared as if you were lucky enough to be in an Irish farm home....prepared with motherly care..... just go there....great value. ..

Tables were all reserved so that only folks sitting down to eat could get them; yay for us! Great service until we needed the bill, then a wasteland. Really loud TV and when the folks at the other table insisted that both TVs be turned to golf so both sides of their table could watch gold, I totally lost interest.... More

Hello , Thanks for your comments and five stars , though your review was bitter sweet ! We do not reserve tables , but we do operate a queue system on busy nights to ensure fairness to our customers who come in and are prepared to wait for a table. This involves us placing a reserved sign on a table... More

Want some authentic Guinness stew on a rainy, cold day in Killarney? Well this is the place. Don't forget the brown bread (I'm addicted now) and order a pint of the local Killarney Brewery's best.

A friend who lives in Killarney suggested Murphy's and I know why- great food, even better authentic traditional Irish music. This is the kind of place you find the local, and there were plenty of them. Bar tenders were busy, but efficient.
