Second time in a fortnight to visit this gorgeous restaurant. All courses were superb! Flat cap mushroom starter is a must. Varied menu and good value for the setting, location and menu... staff were great too Special mention to Sarah; lovely waitress and so very friendly and helpful - highly recommend

A very limited selection the menu. Only one starter costing less than €10 - all starters were small, Surf and turf had a 'surf' of 1 prawn - pathetic. The duck was tough and the stonebass was poor at best. Bitterly disappointing!!

This restaurant in the cellar of the Ross Hotel was a delight. Fun decor and good food and service combined to make the evening very enjoyable. We split an heirloom tomato salad to start. Instead of giving us one dish, they divided the salad onto two nicely presented plates. I always appreciate a restaurant doing this, they just go that... More

We were eating (and enjoying) a lot of pub food and this was a real change. The menu is quite varied. I had the steak with a peppercorn sauce on the side. The steak was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. Others in our party had the mussels, which were good, and the fish which was also good. A little... More

The restaurant has a fixed price two course dinner served before 7:00 PM. One of the starters offered is fried mussels. I'm not sure where the fried part in the name comes from. The mussels were steamed and served in a large bowl with a creamy broth that demanded to be dipped out with a spoon. Absolutely wonderful. The decor... More

Absolutely gorgeous food and fantastic staff. Most excellent manager more than helpful. Pianist playing in the restaurant made it very intimate. Very reasonably priced for fantastic meal.

We arrived from Westport to spend a couple of nights in Killarney, and after reading several reviews of nearby restaurants,we selected Cellar One as menu looked interesting. We were pleasantly surprised by the prompt professional service and the unusual items available. We were pleased with the good value of the 3 course menu, enjoyed the lovely prawn dish and the... Great retro styled restaurant at the Ross Hotel. Excellent service, great quality dishes. We had scallops, fried chèvre cheese, duck and chicken. All cooked perfectly and very flavoursome. Excellent wine including Chile, French and local wines.
