I have been here a few times and this places never disappoints. Great selection on menu. A little pricey at €38 for 3 courses but worth it for special occasion

Myself and 3 friends had dinner here right after Christmas. I had really wanted to try it as I had seen photos of the decor and the food. It's a beautiful space, I love the decor. Piano player was there all night playing really nice background music. The food was a little pricy for what we got. We had the... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor reviews we decided to try Cellar One and it did not disappoint. There is a choice of fixed fee or a la carte menu and each diner may select their preference. They have good vegetarian choices and can accommodate food allergies. The chick pea appetizer is excellent and so apparently is the surf & turf -... More

This place is as stunning as it looks. Really modern, quirky decor with gorgeous exposed walls. It's underneath The Ross hotel with a beautiful stair case and is perfect for a special occasion. Menu is great; inspiring dishes and plenty of choice. Even a whole separate vegetarian menu! Food was delicious and well presented, staff were so friendly, helpful and... More

Had a family event so we booked a table and thankfully we did. It's a busy spot and the food is amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful with menu and nothing was a problem. Love this place

Great place to eat. We stopped in at 9pm with no reservation, but this was no problem. Seated quickly, and treated like 5 star guests. Food was amazing and staff were fantastic.

We were greeted from start to finish with friendly staff. The drinks were fantastic and food was even better. The atmosphere is very modern and fun. Not a traditional irish pub but a fun change in the middle of our trip. We told our waitress we loved our food so the manager came over to check on us. Paul Clarke... More

What a delightful dinner we had on a Monday night when most establishments are closed. We had spent the day in Kenmare and mostly were looking for a place with good food that didn't require too much time in the rain. The Ross Hotel restaurant, Cellar One, fit the bill in all categories. It was right around the corner from... More

The Ross Hotel in the town centre was the last place we had expected to eat - but we were limited in choice because of heavy bookings elsewhere - so this recommendation turned out to be tops. Cellar One was a treat - great service from a young team and we were made most welcome. Enjoyed our meal and the... More

When we looked at the menu,we found it very confusing. All kinds of mixum gatherum dishes. Difficult to even choose anything we expected to enjoy. Monkfish dry and completely overcooked. Local Mozzarella sort of squashed so that outer rind was parted from inner soft part. Balls of risotto awful.

The stylish Cellar One Restaurant is at the heart of The Ross with truly individual design features. Leading from the Pink Lounge down the elegant stairs into Cellar One Restaurant is impressive, and from here on your evening will continue in this same vein. Chef Ian McMonagle has beautifully combined local produce with international influences which will fall nothing short of offering gastric delight. As well as great creative flair there is a clear understanding of food & flavours evident all the way through this menu. From the Cromane Mussels steamed in coconut milk with lime and ginger to the Roast Peppered Breast of Skeghanore Duck served with braised red cabbage, baked apple, honey & orange sauce the creative flair and clear understanding of food is evident all the way through this menu.
