Not sure what's happened here but last year 2015 had an excellent lunch with a superb seafood chowder. This year extremely poor. A toasted chicken ceaser wrap that was tasteless and dry and the brown bread under the prawn sandwich was poor. Choice has diminished and certainly not up to what one would expect.

The worst food I have ever recived in a golf club. The bar was like a furnace, way too hot ,the fish was over cooked and the fries were cold. Never again. I will go into Killarney town to eat next time.

We regularly walk in this area including through the golf course (and by the way "four" means get your head down fast!). The views of the Lake and lakeside mountains are heart-rendingly beautiful. When we first tried the restaurant at Mahony's Point, we were expecting the usual clubhouse fare. Not so! Instead, we found a wide-ranging menu, including super sandwiches.... More

We are talking a golf club here. Great food after a round of golf. Wholesome and fresh. I had the steak sandwich, which was flavorful and filling. Hit the right spot.

Very nice and welcoming golf bar with simple, honest food. Excellent view on the 18th hole and the environment is all you would expect from a club over 100 years old.

Friendly People, friendly Service-Team, good food and Drinks - what do we Golfer need more? We liked the athmosphere at this Clubhouse very much, and we also were treated very professionaly by the Clubhouse-Team and felt welcome.

Called in there for a snack as much as to see this much vaunted golf course. Clearly much work was done on the Club House to facilitate the Irish Open Golf championship but not much has been done since then. Bar area is looking a little "tired". Service and food is ok, no more. Setting is beautiful and most scenic... More

Nice bar in the Clubhouse with 180 degree view of the course and lakes. Great place for a pint and some chowder.
