Booked dinner for college pals get together and it was even better than previous visits. We were all thrilled with our choices ( phew, cause I booked it!), tuna steak + mezzo board stood out. Wine lovely and service just as we needed it, nice and relaxed. So good, we went back next day for breakfast and brownies (seriously, the... More

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We recommend the Goat cheese, sirloin steak and the apricot cake desire. Lovely personalities of staff and efficient.

Without reservations, we were lucky to get a seat a the bar. From the outside you would not think its a restaurant. But the food is amazingly fresh, inventive and modern. We went back for breakfast too. If you can just go in for a pastry, it's worth the experience. It reminded me of upscale hippie places in Northern California.

Went here with my daughter our first day in Galway for dinner. It was bitterly cold and windy for late May. We were near by at the Spanish Arch. We saw this quaint brick house with interesting sign and doorway from outside and decided to try our luck see if we could get in without reservation. I am a bit... More

We had a hard time getting in here but I'd go back in a flash. The food was excellent, beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A treasure in a very casual way.

Ard Bias doesnt disappoint. Lovely menu, nice atmosphere, always great food, and friendly service. When I was living in Galway, this was a regular hang out for me and my friends.

I eat here regularly enough and always enjoy it. Today I had a burger at Nimmo's with a lovely side salad and wedges. So tasty. My mother had the hake on black pudding and that was brilliant as well. It never fails to impress. I'll continue to come back.

My wife and I were freezing to death as we dragged/bounced our suitcases over the rainy, cobblestone streets searching for the B&B we rented. In desperation, I ran into this little restaurant by the Spanish Arch, overlooking the inlet, hoping to find shelter for my wife as she was just getting over a cold and, hopefully, find someone who might...
