We tried about 5 tapas all of which were great, there where many more to choose from. The wine was also good and there was also a pretty big wine selection.

Visited here for dinner during the races, so Galway was bedlam- but in a good way! The food was delicious, the service friendly, helpful and informative. We were having a long overdue get together and Cava Bodega was perfect.

This is the kind of place and menu that I like to go with 5 or more people so you get to sample a broader variety of dishes. Large menu - enough choices to please anyone. Genuinely difficult to narrow down our selections. Wish I...More

We were in Galway for the weekend and had a fantastic meal- the staff were pleasant, the menu exciting and the atmosphere very relaxed. The food was awesome, especially the salted cod and chickpea dish- never had roasted chickpeas before! There was also an amazing...More

The food in Cava was Amazing. They have a great selection of tapas dishes that will cater for all dietary requirements. Matched with a great wine selection to accompany different foods. The waiting staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs...More

First time family visit this week, based on sister in law recommendation. Looks cramped upstairs, but downstairs is really open and comfortable. Waiter took his time outlining the various menu options, and between the four of us we had a mix of meats, vegetable and...More

We went there on the basis of all the wonderful recommendations read on TripAdvisor. The welcoming was nice, the place is actually very pleasant and the waitress really lovely. However, the food was very disappointing. The marinera paella was nothing but a yellow rice with...More

Arrived there and were a bit scared by the small place when we entered but the real gem is in the basement. The main room is nicely decorated and spacious. We only took the tapas without meat, they were nice specially the bacalau cake, very...More

Visited here with my husband. We ordered 5 different dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Service was also very good. Felt like a proper Spanish tapas bar, where you can order one or 2 dishes and nibble away and then order more as required. I...More

We were disappointed with the attitude of our waiter, however, everyone else was perfectly pleasant. We were just unlucky. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

Downstairs was great!, Had more space than the street level. Kitchen action is fast a furious. Plus you get the whole Bodega experience that way.

hi, cava is located on one way narrow street. There are VERY few spaces avail on street. You have to pay and display. Easiest is to park in parking garage, either Eyre Square or Hynes. Hope this helps.
