As the name might suggest, The Pie Maker only sells pies. They're delicious, a decent price, and are the perfect cosy meal for a wet Galway day. The sides are also great, I'd recommend the mash and gravy over the salad. Every dish is an...entire small pie, except for the chocolate pie. You just get a small slice of that which is a disappointment when it's brought out, but still very tasty.More

I was surprised at how many varieties of “meat pies” this place served on any given day. All of the ingredients are locally sourced, and everything is made fresh daily and it tasted that good. A pie + included side dish runs around 13Euros but...that’s plenty for a mid afternoon snack. If you want to make it dinner, have two. I recommend making this one of your stops in Galway if you have only several hours as it’s quick to get the food (seating is limited) to go or to eat in.More

We so enjoyed this sweet little spot serving both savory and sweet pies. Our waitress was charming and attentive. The food was wonderful. Loved this unique experience!

A very simple concept that has been excellently delivered. We ordered the Irish sausage and black pudding pie for a main and an apple pie for the desert. Both were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm afraid but the pies isn't worth the 15 Euro they cost. Reheated pie in a very awful and boring dish presentation in a too dark place. For sure it was the first time I went and the last one.

I was looking for something different and came across this restaurant. Quaint little restaurant with delicious savory pies for dinner. I had the cauliflower and cheese pie which was delicious. As there are many options that are very similar in choices, I recommend this place...if you want something different.More

I've visited here twice now. Its excellent in my opinion. The ingredients are high quality and the pies themselves are both traditional and authentic. It's nice to visit an affordable restaurant that offers something different and also uses ingredients that would often be much more...expensive in another restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive and the desserts are spectacular. It's one of galways hidden gems.More

Pie was lovely. Red cabbage was not cooked properly or fully. Peas were hard. Gravy was excellent. Third time eating there and easily the poorest. Will try again.

The tiniest little spot with the biggest flavor packed into their savory single serve pies! This place is like no other I’ve ever been and even has the delicious traditional Bannoffee pie!!

The Pie Maker opens at 11 am Saturday through Sunday; at least according to what is posted for the hours on Trip Advisor. Yes, it is definitely possible to eat at the bar and given the limited seating, I suspect that it is... More
