This place is open late and perfect for a late night fried snack after hitting the many pubs in the area. Their chips are great, but beware: one of our orders of the garlic chips came with a really excessive amount of mayo (garlic mayo is what makes them garlic chips apparently).

The Fish is always fresh and, melt in your mouth, the batter is beer battered(even the deep fried mars bars),and the Chowder is like velvet with less vegies and loadsa fish...mmmmmm

Staff are friendly, over worked at weekends, but still keep a beautiful smile on their faces. Recommend cod and chips, or late night snack, gravy and mushy peas chips

Really great location, atmosphere, service, people and AMAZING food! We travelled the whole of the Wild Atlantic Way and it was the best Fish and Chips we had on the whole road trip. The homemade sauce presented in shells was the icing on the cake!

I've just left kettle of fish after seeing lots of people who ordered after me get served. I wanted 2 fish and chips and a curry chip. I waited over half an hour before having to get my money back. The girl either didn't put my order through or just forgot about it but either way I was so unimpressed... More

Incredibly friendly staff, very welcoming. Myself and my partner both had the fish and chips, one haddock and one cod. Superb batter, nothing like we get in the UK. Light, thin and crispy complimenting the fish not smothering it! Chips also excellent. Whilst we were waiting (you have to wait for quality!) the couple next to us informed us that... More

I was recently on vacation in Ireland with a couple friends and had a few days in Galway. By recommendation of our bus tour guide, we stopped at Kettle of Fish for fresh fish and chips. The food was fabulous! We met Gerald and had some time to chat with him....such a pleasant guy! He gave us recommendations on what... More
