I was disappointed. The bread on the table was a heavy cake type with bits of green veg through it. The starter was rillette (or as we knew it in the old days:brawn) with cracker type bread and pickles, again disappointing. The main course was...More

The slightly ramshackle decor may be off putting for some but I rather like its old school look. This is great food at very good prices. We had a crab dish and a ceviche for starters which just zinged with flavour. Lovely service as well....More

I was "trip advised" to visit Kai and I'm happy I did. It was an informal restaurant with a very nice staff. A small menu, but anyway enough of temptations. Both the starter and the main course was excellent. I think Kai combines gourmet qualities...More

I liked the hipster vibe of this place--lots of stone and interesting objects. The food is imaginative and varied. These chefs know how to mesh aesthetics with taste. Everything is beautifully presented and paired with something I would not have thought of.

I have to say - BEST MEAL EVER! I still dream of the dish I had. Ambient is so cute and even though we had to wait for our table, I have to say it was the best decision I made in a while :)...More

Kai is a lovely little restaurant with a rapidly growing reputation. It's cosy and vibrant, with a young, hip staff. We told them we were on a bit of a tight schedule when we arrived, and service was suitably swift -- the only time we...More
