I was told to visit but often full, which is a good sign. I would recommend this for a special occupation. We had a specialist tea, soup and a cake. Cost 27 euros. However, the tea was special and the soup very nice. I think the bread was home make and there was so much the waitress popped several pieces... More

Lovely tea shop with a nice variety. Most helpful and courteous staff. Very pleased with the tea we picked up for family back home.

What a treat. I love tea, and I love high tea. This was perfect. Beautiful sandwiches, scones and cakes, and strong, fresh, hot tea served on old fashioned china. All good x

Popped in for a tea, scone and bathroom break. Nice little elegant tea room, with an array of yummy sweets and baked goods. It's not a huge place, but quite nice just the same. Staff was friendly. Only problem was they charged me for the next table's goods along with mine and I didn't realize until afterwards.

Went with our two kids, tea was delicious. My son would recommend the Lemon Drizzle cake, my daughter and I loved the walnut and coffee cake (YUMMY) and my husband loved his scone. We purchased extra tea leaves and a strainer. Very good value for money.

This place is a true gem. From it's quaint stone exterior and quirky quaint interior and a fabulous selection if tea and cakes etc served in the old style cups and saucers. It truely is a treat. A must when in Galway.

This charming tea shop is so pretty. All the crockery, tablecloths and napkins are lovely. There is a great choice of teas and the cakes are delicious. It is certainly worth a visit if you are in the area. The price was reasonable and the service good.

Cupan Tae is a perfect place for tea and a baked good or light fare. We had just traveled from Shannon Airport and needed a little pick me up and this was the perfect place. The decor is very cute with tea cups hanging in the window and food served on beautiful mixed matched china. Our group had tea, coffee... More

Very nicely situated near the River and town. The teas are superb and the food tasty. For the price of the lunch plates you would expect a little more. I had the "Rosti" and there was no salad with it. A slightly larger plate with a few leaves and dressing would have made a satisfying meal. We left a little... More
