Great Restaurant in Salthill Galway

If you want a very good Sunday lunch, try this restaurant. It is always well supported and while you may have to queue for a table, it is well worth it. A full menu is available as well as the Sunday specials. All food is reasonably priced and very tasty

Evening meal for 6 people, the sea food chowder was something to die for, food was good but the only fault was that the potatoes and veg were on the cold side. Service was great and they had no hesitation in cooking something which stated was only on menu until lunch time

Came in with my girlfriend on a horrible winters night for our anniversary as I had heard great things. I must say I was not dissappointed! The food was gorgeous particularly the chowder I had to start. The menu was quite extensive so we had a lot of options to choose from and though we made the right choice, everything... More

Arrived back from Dublin at 9.10pm on a Sunday evening. Salthill windy and wet and my usual suspects of the Black Cat and La Colina were just finished serving. So over to the Galleon across the road.So ok it is like stepping back to the 1980's but I though the chicken maryland would be a blast form the past. It... More

Excellent food and service. Good value cannot fault the staff or restaurant. Dinned here two nights in a row. Would recommend to couples or families alike even for a quote bite alone.

I go here with my partner regularly. But the past few visits we were disappointed. On our most recent visit we paid €30 for a chicken curry that was obviously reheated and my partner had a steak sandwich with hardly any steak!! I was unimpressed to say the least. They also used to do a lovely pasta carbonara which has... More
