We came here for dinner after a long day of traveling. This place has a fabulous atmosphere. Warm and cozy and buzzing and happy. The service was top notch. We went to the upstairs bar and inquired about a table. We sat for a drink at the bar while they got us a table. The food was awesome. We got... More

We had dinner at the Dail twice during our 3 nights stay in Galway as it was delicious. The staff were really friendly and efficient even though it was extremely busy. My daughter had the Irish Stew both nights as it was so good, I had fish and chips and the second night I had plaice fillets with roast potatoes... More

Called in yesterday for one drink while out wandering around the shops and were sorry we did. I don't know what was wrong with the female member of staff who practically threw the drink at us . She should of left whatever problem she had at home .

The day before our wedding, my husband and I stopped into this restaurant with friends for dinner and drinks, and had great time here. We are a couple from the States and got married at Glenlo Abbey, and were hoping to come into town to go to some pubs for live music the night of our wedding instead of having... More

Food was good, waitstaff good. We were seated upstairs which was fairly quiet. The old hardwood trim all over is beautiful

As this pub in in tourist central we initially entered just for drinks but a quick look at the menu showed that we would be interested in eating here. The waitress quickly took our orders while we made use of the free wifi.. The food was good quality and we thought good value for money.

My husband and I came to the Dail Bar as we were waiting to check in to our room across the street. The bartender was helpful and made sure we had a safe place to store our suitcases while we ate. We ordered the half roasted chicken, potato and leek soup (delicious!!!!) and the goat cheese and beet salad which... More
