We were having a group couple trip and the 2 lads went into the dail bar to watch the football early on saturday morning (around 11:30), they seemed pretty comfortable when we arrived after shopping so we decided to have a bite to eat for lunch and stay and have a few drinks in the afternoon. I ordered a toasted... More

Nice fireplace and also a great place to watch a match on TV. It can get a little crowded at popular times, but that can be said of all the good pubs in Galway.

Got the steak sandwich special the steak was more like a rasher it was that skinny don't know how they could call it a steak. Said the same to the waitress and in fairness she got me another one which was slightly bigger. Staff were excellent just let down by the food i was served

Hi ifnotherethere, Thank you for your review and feedback. We're very surprised to hear the steak sandwich was unsatisfactory. It's been one of the most popular dishes on our menu for several years and we can't recall the last time we received any negative customer feedback. But we have taken your comments on board and discuss it with the chef... More

We ate here after walking up and down high street and found a gem of a traditional Irish pub with very good food. We found the restaurant staff very friendly and accommodating. We were seated upstairs. Whiskey and Guinness were solid, as were the fish and chips. Perfect restaurant to wind down after a long day trip on the west... More

Had a nice family dinner on the first night of our stay in Galway. Arrived close to the time the kitchen was closing but we weren't rushed. The food was very good. The waitress and bartender serving our table were friendly and most helpful. A "can't go wrong" spot for dinner and/or a pint.
