Went here last Thursday Lovely little place, friendly staff We had the crab claws and fish cakes to start and then the John Dorey with muscles and clams for main. It was all excellent but the crab claws stole the show. Easily one of the best seafood dishes I've ever eaten and definitely the best crab. We will be back.... More

This restaurant could be just fantastic if only they didn't over cook the fish so much. As they are a fish restaurant they really should know how to cook fish better, there is more to cooking fish then just grilling it till its dry, the secret to cooking fish is to know when to stop cooking it. Unfortunately the chef... More

Glasthule Village is a place to discover whether for shopping or dining-out. With Cavistons you can do both. If you fancy "Fresh Fish" you have a great selection here to either 'dine on' or purchase to take home for home cooking.

Small restaurant, friendly staff, delicious delicious food, good wine list. Love the old world charm of this small dining room. Would have liked to be in the company of younger people but that is not to take away from the taste of the prawn and lobster starter which was melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Will definitely be back

It's a small restaurant that has 2 waitresses. You go here for the fish as it is famous for its fish counter next door. It also has a fresh bakery do you can ask for their many types of bread without extra charge. Butter and olive oil are supplied. No silly cover charge. There is an early bird menu for... More

This is a small and friendly restaurant open for lunch and evenings. In spite of it's small size you do not feel crammed. It is seafood all the way of the highest order, simply prepared and presented. There is a moderate wine menu. Staff are friendly and it is frequented by a fair share of locals and regulars. As an... We joined a 'senior crowd' for a late sitting for lunch and felt like we were at a retirement party - this was the only sitting offered to us. The food was fine but only fine, good starter but main course just average. The service was friendly. The dinning room is really poor - small, decor terrible, cheap cutlery, uncomfortable... More

Visited at lunch time with my daughter. Queen scallops starter, delicious. I tried the crab's legs, equally delicious. The sauces are so good you want to lick the plate. The John Dory special, I am told, was just as yummy as the starters. My seared tuna was very good but the lack of a sauce had me wishing I had... More

Went to this restaurant with my sister for her birthday on 20/8/2016. It is a small place to eat but the service is very good and so is the food. Fish is the food served at this restaurant so if you like fish, go. The staff are very friendly and patient with you while ordering. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We called in to buy food for later, and ended up buying lunch too. They have a fantastic selection of fruit , breads, fish and veg . You can get salads, sandwiches and even meals for one. Wish we had a Cavistons at home !
