Friends recommended White Tea ages ago but when we tried for an earlyish breakfast, it was never open,so we always ended up going elsewhere. Hungry and looking for a place where you could enjoy something other than croissants or prepackaged heat up breakfasts, we paid an overdue visit. The menu fitted the bill perfectly for us,and we were spoilt for... More

It's quite ridiculous to review a place when you are on a diet and can only look at the cakes and scones and quietly, mournfully dribble a bit at the sight of all those gorgeous forbidden foods - but my chum Anne-Marie tells me the cakes and the scones are only divine... Anyhow, the setting is so charming and I... More

We often visit on Saturdays for brunch as we love everything about this place but the menu has been recently updated and the prices are now shocking. Yesterday we had a cafe breakfast and at 11 euro we expected more, it's tiny! What made it worse was it was served with only one very small slice of bread. The sandwich... More

This is a quaint & bright tea room located on the upper floor of a fabric store. The scones & cakes are really good as are the sandwiches, salads & soups. Very nice.

I am coeliac and have visited this quaint cafe-restaurant several times, and enjoyed a bowl of tasty soup and gluten-free bread. Sad to say, each time I have been badly glutened, remaining ill for several days. I couldn't understand this, as I had been assured by the waitress that the food I had chosen was gluten free and that the kitchen... More

You wouldn't notice this place if you didn't know it was there. It is situated above Brian S Nolan, a fabric shop with whom they share an entrance. Walk into the shop and up the beautiful staircase and you're in White Tea. It looks like a modern take on an old fashioned tea room in many ways. There's a big... More

I work in Dun Laoghaire and myself and my colleague tried this café for the first time a few months ago. We loved it because they make nice fresh sandwiches and it has pretty decor and crockery. We went three times for lunch mid week. Recently, however, we have tried to have lunch there and both times we asked for... More

This was a nice place situated within a haberdashery type shop but it wasn't anything special other than tea was in proper teacups. Nice cake and friendly staff

You could quite easily pass by White and never know it existed. It's whole understated feel doesn't give away how good this place is. I've eaten here several times now and can recommend it to those who want good quality food in a pleasing atmosphere. There's no obtrusive loud music, instead a nice backdrop of 40' & 50's tracks. The... More

The airy and light environment is a very pleasant setting for a well presented brunch . There is a nice choice of specials with good soups , baking and tasty savoury dishes. Upstairs in Brian S Nolan 's curtain shop , this is a very good day time dining option on the main drag in Dun Laoghaire .
