Hosting one of the best views in Dun Laoghaire, I dropped in to the old Haddington House for my afternoon tea recently as the sun was out and the sea was clear. Unfortunately, the service was not as I had previously experienced. Pointed out by another elderly women sitting close by, there was one or two young people trying to... More

This restaurant is in the Haddington Hotel, (renamed from the Kingston I believe). The restaurant has a good reputation locally. (Hence used to meet family for dinner). Limited menu - not a problem as many are far too wide and I assumed the limitation meant extra good. It was okay but did not live up to the reputation in my... More

I recently visited this restaurant on a Friday evening with four guests. We loved the food which is an interesting and stylish twist on Italian. I had a starter platter with lots of lovely meats and cheeses on a huge board which fortunately I was sharing. I went for a rather dull choice of main course, a pizza which was... More

Well had a meal and posted a review in 2016 which was upsetting due to the service not been up to the 100%. But new year new hope - Service was prompt, personal right level of interaction. The starter was amazing (The ravioli) and I asked for a calzoni which I was straight away asked which one. Currently I am... More

Had a good Sunday lunch here with the extended family . Staff are v patient if you have alot of kids !! Food is average , prices are moderate , wine list is good and can't fault the service . Only real down sides is very loud restaurant and not a romantic place for couple to dine .

I went there on a Sunday with some friends and we loved it. The staff is very helpful and prompt. I had Fritto Misto, which is very yummy and we also had pizzas. I can honestly say the pizza is one of the best that I ate in Dublin. Definitely recommend the restaurant though if you go in the weekend... More

Nice dinner out with the family, I eat very regularly on the weekends and also organised drinks and food with visitors and went in a corporate event with food and drinks. The best pizza in the area

The front of the hotel belies what is within. It looks, as it should do, like an oldish hotel but within is a modern restaurant/bistro with good food and service.

Visited restaurant over New Years and will not be returning. Had a dinner reservation which the management rang to confirm on the day. What they didnt mention on the phone call was that their kitchen was being renovated which meant that the menu was restricted, which we only found out when we ordered. More importantly they didnt mention that they... More

Leonie Thanks for the review and I've reflected on the comments but I need some more information to ensure I can follow up on this formally. You mention 'over New Years' but as we were closed last week for refurb works, I am guessing you meant New Years Eve - can you confirm this? Could you also confirm the time... More
