After never been here before, I ended up going twice in the space of a week! I was originally there on a Saturday night for a hen and the food was so good, and the restaurant had such a great buzz, I booked it for the following Saturday night. The table was booked for 10 people for our friend Nick's... More

My wife & I had a lovely 3 course dinner there on a recent Friday. It was actually very noisy in the restaurant... being beside a large group having a 50th birthday party didn't help... but I think the hard surfaced interior (no noise damping) was also a key contributor. My wife & I joked to each other in sign... More

Absolutely FANTASTIC night on Saturday 11/3/17! I would HIGHLY recommend! Staff were SO accommodating, friendly and professional! They went above and beyond to make sure all 33 Hens had a brilliant time! Our Bride to be was served a complimentary cocktail after dessert accompanied with music and a sing song from staff "going to the chapel", the tunes continued as... More

I visited on a saturday but was able to get a window table for lunch. We had the burger and a duck wrap and both were excellent. The decor is interesting but provides a lovely lunch atmosphere. Its a good menu and great selection. Service was ok but i didnt like that we were given the bill before we asked... More

Food was lovely, nice atmosphere, and generally lovely staff, except for the head waiter. He asked our server in the most aggressive manner, within our earshot, and while pointing at us, had she asked if we wanted desert or tea/coffee. It was evident he wanted our table back. Indeed the server had asked us, and we had asked for some... More

Hi Karen I am glad you enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere at Boulevard Cafe last Saturday, needless to say I am very dissapointed with your comments. It was ok. The main was cold and the waiter kept working on something on the wall right behind me but not too long. Ok for the price i guess.

Food was lovely, menu is a little pricey but when the food comes it's worth it. Saturday night and the service was quite poor, felt conned into a €5 bottle of water as we'd barely sat down when he asked us, 'Still or sparkling', I don't mind paying for it but €5 is steep. Felt a bit crammed in lots... More

Our second visit this time on a Thursday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food and wine were only excellent and so was the value. Only minus it was lacking in atmosphere but that was probably due to the cold weather and time of year. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit for the great food.
