The Market Bar is hidden carefully away in the heart of Dublin, just off South Great George's Street. When you enter, the sheer size of the place is striking, a great hall with high ceiling and brick walls. Still, it is has a friendly and relaxing atmosphere like an indoor garden. You can glimpse into the open kitchen at the... More

Visited last Saturday as a part of a Tapas Trail tour, very comfortable seating, not to crowded but full. Had the goats cheese crostini and the patatas bravas, both nice dishes. Everyone I speak to has amazing things to say about the patatas bravas, mine were nice but too much sauce unfortunately - the goat's cheese dish was beautiful. Clean... More

Busy, large space with big portions and quick service. You might have to wait to be seated when it's busy, but not too long. Order a few tapas between 3-4 people and you are set. There is a great value deal before 7PM, two tapas and a drink for a set price.

I've eaten here a few times and the food is undoubtedly very good. However, my issue is with the staff and the general attitude to, and treatment of, some customers. We have used The Market Bar a number of times to meet up at maybe 5.30pm on a Friday/Saturday. Admittedly, we would never stay in the bar all night but... More

Went for a girly dinner and were looking for tapas. The tapas was as good as it was in Spain. The environment is vibrant and a nice area of Dublin. The portion sizes are great and our server was honest in relation to how many dishes to get etc....we still ordered slightly too much because everything sounded delicious! The service... More

Love the warehouse feel of this space and the quirky wall decorations. Tapas are tasty and reasonably priced and there's a nice selection of beer on tap. Located conveniently on Fade Street!

Food served is tapas however 2 small dishes are more than enough. Dishes very good an tasty. Friendly staff. Recomended. Bear in mind this also a bar so the place is quite noisy.

I go here regularly - the nicest tapas in Dublin. Portions are very generous. Great atmosphere also. Booking system could be adjusted to smaller groups perhaps but still an amazing restaurant.

Having previously frequented Market Bar for drinks with friends, it was lovely to experience from a family perspective. In day time, it's a bright open restaurant, with plenty of room for prams/buggies, with toys and colouring facilities for older children and decent changing facilities for smaller babies. We opted for the early bird option which is 2 small tapas each... More

Great restaurant in Dublin! We tried the meatballs, chicken and chorizo skewers, and the pizza of the day! Everything was delicious. Also tried a mojito, which was not worth the cost €10.
