I go to Chez Max regularly to meet business associates for coffees and lunches, Chez Max is a little piece of Paris in Dublin, its central location makes it perfect for meeting up. The menus is all French food and very authentic, a great atmosphere also.

I had to order dessert to fill my stomach. The portions are small. Like really small. Other than that, great place.

Cute restaurant right outside Dublin Castle. Everyone I was with enjoys their meals and it was reasonably priced especially for the quality and portions. The outside patio was still open in January with the heaters cranking so it would be comfortable to grab a quick bite or drink. Worth a visit.

I am amazed by this little French bistro. Everything was amazing and tasty. You won't be disappointed whatever you order. Very friendly service staff. Expensive, but worth it. Crowded, worth it. I love this place.

Having previously enjoyed Chez Max in Baggott Street, recently visited its sister bistro tucked just outside the main entrance to Dublin Castle - rather like experiencing an Irish pub inside the gates of the Bastille ! With an all-French waiting staff and a clientele consisting of eccentric local Francophiles, Christmas shoppers and other assorted regulars, the place has a nice... More

Part of a group of 8 friends, we had booked for the early bird menu in advance. The staff were very pleasant, the food good, the atmosphere was busy and friendly, the wine well priced and of good quality. Overall impression was very positive with excellent balance between price and quality.

This place is so authentic its like stepping into Paris. The food is fantastic, my favourite is the onion soup and the moules frites. They give you a huge portion and the prices are very reasonable, especially for lunch. The service is always warm, friendly and efficient from the entirely french staff. Its always such a treat to eat here... More

Reservation recommended as the restaurant is quite small. Although it is quite busy, dining experience is excellent. Good food and nice wines.

Excellent place for good Brasserie style food. We went after a concert. Steak frites and duck. Wine list accessible.
