Beautiful old church turned into a trendy restaurant. The church is centuries old, large an a fixture of old Dublin, (ex, Handel played the organ there and Arthur Guinness was married there.) The ambiance of the sanctuary has been saved and turned into a trendy place with Irish music and dancing several nights of the week. The food is very... More

We visited as a group of four to sample the cocktails having had it recommended to us, we were considering eating here so had gone in to check out the menu. It is a beautiful building and the staff are welcoming, really nice surroundings and very unique. For us though at 12 euro a cocktail two rounds was plenty so... More

A second visit here after 2 years. Very busy when we went - about 6.45pm on a Tuesday - but we did manage to find a table. Good range of choices on the menu, reasonably priced. Very good, efficient service. Enjoyed the Irish dancing displays but thought the singing slot was a bit long and rather drowned by the general... More

We visited on a Wednesday evening. The place was full with Irish music and dancing as an added extra. The main thing was that the food was very good and the service attentive without being over the top. The wine we had was very good and reasonably priced. A thoroughly enjoyable evening in unusual surroundings. Would we go again? Yes... More

We stepped in amidst a joyful jig to live Celtic music, in a venue where Handel rehearsed The Messiah ca 1725. Our assigned table was upstairs against the wall, without view of the performing stage below. I sliced my Irish sirloin into fine pieces lest I'd a tucked several pieces of tough sinew discretely onto the plate, beside the chips... More

We visited The Church for lunch during our short Dublin visit. It was very busy but the service was good and the bar staff were very friendly. Food was nice and good value. Excellent place to stop if you are shopping nearby and fancy a quick drink and bite to eat.
