I spent an excellent evening here with my daughter on her 27th birthday. She and I are foodies and know this restaurant from previous visits. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent, the food was really outstanding and the staff went to great lengths to...make us few comfortable and provide advice on food and wine. This is an excellent place to enjoy fine food in a relaxing environment.More

We were staying at the Merrion Hotel which is located right next door and made reservations prior to arrival in Dublin. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. We started with the crispy prawns and both had fish for our main course...- great food!More

Over priced, Over Hyped & really average food. Went with my wife and her sister and her hubby. Left feeling hungry. The plates were shabby and what was on them was so overpriced it's laughable. To be fair we had a nice time but then...again we would have a nice time if we ate at Ishmael's Kebab counter around the corner on Baggot street lol. Would I go back? No Have a look at the 30 euro monkfish 'special' below. It actually looked like it was sitting, ready in the kitchen for idiots to go for it. Spinich and mash - extra.More

One of the most special meals we have had for a long time. The tasting menu is super. Each course was a delight and the service was excellent. The chef who designed the menu is a genius and it was perfectly executed. We can’t wait...to go back. Superb. Very good value for this standard of food.More

Wonderful experience, delightful food (tasting 6 course menu), professionally trained staff. I cannot find a reason not to recommend a place and I'm already thinking about paying the brasserie another visit soon.

Bit of a treat to ourselves to celebrate coming out of covid hibernation. Not a cheap evening by any means but it was extremely enjoyable. The food was delicious. We were served by Sabrina (I think) and she was relaxed enough to take the mickey...out of me which I love. Didn't feel stuffy at all. All the staff were lovely and doing a great job. Fabulous Irish coffee which is always a good sign. Served a sorbet as a palette cleanser and little cakey treats as well. Lovely evening, lovely restaurant. Just to add I felt covid protocols were well respected, which is important to me.More

Great Dublin restaurant, I can never fault the food . At Christmas I had the frois gras to start , although the tempura prawns are normally my favourite . It was stunning, it was followed by the Lamb . Top. Class, also excellent service and...staff particularly the Maitre d ‘Tommy’ (name doesn’t sound very french😂😂). Can’t wait for it to reopen !!!!. Strongly recommendedMore

I went with a friend last week for evening dinner and it was a pleasant experience. It was always somewhere I did want to tick off but definitely wasn't top on my list. We were greeted by a lovely host on a wintery, wet evening...who kindly showed us to our table and took our coats. The service was prompt and attentive if a little stuffy and old fashioned. A good menu that read well and was complimentary to the time of year, we both started with the octopus. This was a good dish with strong flavours and presented nicely, I would have liked the dish to have been slightly warmer but otherwise an uncomplicated plate of food. Mains of venison was cooked nicely and served with some winter veg, again a nice dish of food but not a knock out of the park. Dessert of a chocolate pie was pleasant if a little small for the price. We went for a nice bottle of red and a few drinks from a comprehensive wine list with our meal. Overall a pleasant experience that I imagine appeals to an older clientele who have been frequenting it for years and are adverse to change or anything risky. It would be a good spot to bring parents who like a treatMore
