We dropped in for a last drink after dinner. The wine was okay, but the service was appalling; very rushed and unnecessarily obnoxious. Will never return.

Had our Christmas lunch here with work and I can't fault it. The food is fantastic, the wine selection is endless and the restaurant in the basement area is just lovely. It's looks like an old cellar or something. Staff are very good and efficient too. For a 2/3 course set lunch menu you can't go wrong at the great... More

Ate here in the run up to Christmas with colleagues. The building is interesting, it's located in an old cellar, all done up, it creates a lovely atmosphere. Food was good, I had a fish dish. Service was excellent. I will certainly go again, a positive experience.

Went with 20+ coworkers and had a great evening. Good menu, everyone found something to their liking and we were all pleased with our choices. No complaints. Service was very good, location and decor is different, in a good way and overall it was a memorable evening. Well worth a return visit.

Eat at this restaurant in the run up to Christmas and had high expectations. On arrival the surroundings are beautiful and makes for a great restaurant setting. The wine menu is extensive and the waiting staff seem to be very knowledgable regarding the wine selection. Unfortunately the food was not memorable and downright overpriced for the portion size.....I actually left... More

We had a Christmas menu in here and it was very poor. Portion sizes have always been a bit frugal in here, but this time the food was poor too. Parsnip soup was average, with a meager side of bread. The turkey though was just awful, honestly the worst I've had in my life. A big thick slab with almost... More

I have almost been put off going out for a meal in Dublin because the overall experience is so often mediocre. But we arrived in to Ely for the Early bird before a show in the Point and wow! from the moment we arrived. It was just such an overall pleasant experience. Great, vibrant, on the ball staff. We were served... More

Nice selection of local brews, good food, very noisy - need to shout to be heard.Space is quite cramped - not good for meetings.

Hi Temple, Thanks very much for the review. We're thrilled you enjoyed our craft beer selection and food, however we would have had no problem moving your table to another part of the bar or downstairs brasserie areas to accommodate your meeting. We hope you visit again soon to see our beautifully restored wine vaults and airy/spacy atrium bar. More

This was an excellent place for a private dinner business meeting. The wine selection was fantastic and the food was simply wonderful (fixed price menu if reserving a private room). I'm sure the personal dinning experience would be just as lovely. I highly recommend this place for dinner.

We visited on a Friday evening for my partners birthday. Upon booking I informed the staff that it was a special occasion. I received an email asking for my partners name which I thought was lovely as it was likely they would do something special knowing it was his birthday. We arrived and were promptly seated. The waiter said he... More
