We had a good Irish dinner here. Service was generally good. Mussels (starter) was very yummy. It is right next to Temple Bar.

We initially chose this restaurant as we had an offer of two for one with our tour bus. This was a great surprise. Located in the heart of Temple Bar. We sat outside and had plenty of people watching to do. The food was excellent. Had Fish and chips, it was delicious - not too much breading (some others had... More

Ate here for a traditional Irish meal which didn't disappoint. Also had a bottle of wine and deserts which were also reasonable in the area. Would visit again!

I had the Beef and Guinness Stew which was pretty good, my wife had the cottage pie which was pretty bad. Given that we had a 2 mains for 1 the price was reasonable. The Broccoli was a bit too al dente and when we paid the bill the waiter did an auto conversion from Euro to GBP without asking...We... More

Two us of out of four came into The Shack Restaurant after walking around Temple Bar, because of how close it was to Temple. While waiting for our other 3 guests to join us, we were harassed multiple times by our waiter about when our other guests would be arriving and that there was a 2 hour limit to tables.... More

This restaurant is in the heart of Temple bar, it is very comfortable with old world decor. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. This is one of the restaurants included in the discounted meal voucher when you purchase a tour ticket for the red hop-on-hop-off bus.

We sat out front and people watched, our server was so nice and the food was some of the best I've had in Dublin. We went at the start of our trip and when we were back in Dublin a week later; I wanted to go back!

Delightful little place . Varied menu and food cooked to order. Manager and waiting staff very friendly. Quality of food was brilliant, served with fresh veg at no extra cost. We were never rushed to move on even tho it was always busy. Gluten free choices available.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Shack in Dublin! We ordered from the "meal deal" menu, which offers an appetizer, main course, including side dish, and a desert for a very reasonable price. You can also get two for one from the large menu if you can produce the ticket to the Hop-on, Hop-off bus, so if you... More
