We had a wonderful dining experience at The Shack in Dublin! We ordered from the "meal deal" menu, which offers an appetizer, main course, including side dish, and a desert for a very reasonable price. You can also get two for one from the large menu if you can produce the ticket to the Hop-on, Hop-off bus, so if you... More

We were looking for a good Irish restaurant to visit. This was recommended. The food was very good. Excellent service. It's right in the heart of Temple Bar. I would recommend this myself

A wonderful restaurant in the centre if Temple Bar. (This is not Fish Shack). Fantastic atmosphere and ambiance. Service excellent. GREAT RANGE on menu. I had fillet steak that was cooked perfectly. Veg comes with your meal so you don't have to pay for extras. Added bonus is if you have your bus ticket from the hop on, hop off... More

Our trip on the Hop-on-hop-off bus included a 2 for one deal at this restaurant. The day was warm so we sat outside enjoying the sights and sounds of the lively area. My fish and chips were of the best quality and my husband enjoyed his steak too. Both meals were from the Light snack section and were more than... More

Looking for the best one in dub? Well this is the place. Try it. My recommendation the Irish lamb stew, steak & Guiness casserole, the cabbage salad and more. Number 1

This restaurant is on the 'red' Dublin bus tour's 2 for 1 discount offer so we thought it was worth a try: it was. The food was excellent and quickly served. Three of us had the lamb shank and all left happy.

Place was full when we arived, but a table for three was pretty soon available. Service and food were of high quality, but still. The something extra was not there.

The Temple bar is the best part of Dublin when talking about foods and drinks. The Shack Restaurant seems to be a nice place, apart from the fact that the waiter avoided talking to me. I trully understood that it was because I'm a woman and I was alone. Jus behaviour with other people was completely different, pleasant and talkative.... More

Since most of the restaurants on Fleet St. were packed with tourists, we tried The Shack, which did have available tables. We enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere, although there was no live music. The service was adequate, however I can not recommend the food. The beer was tasty but was served in small glasses, rather than the traditional pints.

This used to be a great restaurant, so we went there today and we both were totally let down by the food. It was a disaster from watery soup to a tasteless main course. I had the Tuna and it was dreadful and there would be no point in complaining because I'd say it was the best the so called... More

I generally don’t waste my time respond to subjective reviews, such as those posted on Trip Advisor, but this review is written with malice and nastiness. If you were so unhappy with your meal, why not complain to the Manager, who would have resolved the matter for you there and then without the need to crawl into a corner to... More
