The Temple Bar is a must do when visiting Dublin. The street is closed off to traffic. The pub is busy, lively and great music. People are dancing, singing and having a great time. Stop in if only for a quick pint of Guinness!

An absolute must if you are in Dublin and want a good night out. Right in the heart of all the action, great night out. Best live music in town. I thought it was going to be really busy, it was but it is huge...More

Went here with a few friends who arent Irish. They wanted to come here. Nearly 7 quid for a pint of Guinness. That's daylight robbery. And it wouldn't be nare fresh when you get your hands on it. No wonder they are making so much....More

Had drinks at The Temple Bar Pub a couple of times during our stay in Dublin. The bar is extremely busy, overpriced, but it is part of the tourist experience. It opens at 10 AM and is full by NOON. Service is nothing special, with...More

Brilliant atmosphere and exactly what you expect from an Irish bar. Drinks are expensive but it’s not somewhere you’ll be staying all evening. Great bar staff and food. Well worth a visit!

This was a tourist trap! Massively overcrowded at night, with nowhere to sit, and still busy in the day! It is coasting by on its historical novelty. But honestly, get your picture by it and move on as there are so many bars in Temple...More

Was here with my sister to enjoy the vibe, bee, and of course, the Irish Coffee. I had Smithwick’s Shandy, she had Hop 13 by Guinness, and we shared the margherita pizza. This is not the same pizza you get back in California; this is...More

Great to stop in and have a pint, just to say you've been there. Have a local beer rather than Guinness (you can get Guinness anywhere), or a cider, and sit at the bar. Yeah its touristy and the locals stay away, but its the...More

On our first night in Ireland, middle of the week, we walked over to the Temple Bar. It was so crowded, we did not bother going in. That said, however, my wife and I did stop in next door where there was a whiskey/tobacco bar...More

It depends on how he/she looks as if they look older then they are as they may get ID on the door before being let in. And if you manage to get in it's best to no let them go bar as again may get ID by the barman.
