We spent a couple of evenings here and guess you'll find it hard to get a better atmosphere than here. The pub is very busy though and it's difficult to get a seat if you need one, like some oldies! They had a duo on both nights who played great music, and for a busy pub we surprisingly got served... More

Really beautiful pub but plenty of tourist and therefore overpriced. 7,5 euros for a lager pint and 6 euros for a Guiness. There are better pubs in Dublin.

We came for a quick drink before dinner on a Thursday night, and ended spending more than an hour sipping Guinness, the best I ever had, and listening to a singer with his guitar giving us the local version of Country Music. Nice and warm atmosphere, I assume it gets packed on weekend, they have several rooms so checkout all... More

Was in Dublin and thought it would be rude not to pop in for a pint, I was not disappointed, the best pint of Guinness to ever pass my lips! There was a live singer on keeping the punters entertained, lovely traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere packed with things to look it, impossible to get bored here. The smoking... More

This place is great!!! Great fun, great atmosphere, great range of food and drink everything is just well great! Went to Dublin for the weekend from the UK. Everyone told me to visit. I was a little apprehensive that I may not get a warm reception after all most of the pubs in the UK make you feel nervous if... More

We visited the Temple Bar Pub during the "Trad Fest". It's a very lively place, crowded with people. The y had really good live music and the atmosphere was great. The staff was friendly and we got our drinks very fast. Great whisky assortment! Definitely a place we recommend if you want to taste Irish pub-live, even though the prices... More

The pub was very busy even in the day and costly, the toilets are very basic and the xmas decorations are still up! A cool looking pub but there are others on temple bar that are less crowded and just as good.

Me and my partner visited Dublin last weekend. Atmosphere was good. They still had some garlands and Christmas lights up inside which I loved! Expensive for drinks but I think everywhere is so you go with it and get drunk anyway. A must see when in Dublin.
