After years of hearing about Shanahans and with a few special occasions, my husband decided it was time to try it. Booked for late Saturday evening. Overall I think it is completely overrated. The place was not busy, probably half full and atmosphere was a bit flat. Can see why it appeals for a business lunch with clients but not... More

Amazing Irish steak restaurant, admittably pricey but life's about experiences and this place need to be experienced. All the food is exceptionally cooked and seasoned, the onion strings need to seen to be believed, but leave room for the Oreo cheesecake. Nicely washed down with a bottle of Chateau Gloria. This Georgian townhouse is the perfect place to experience Dublins... More

Dress up and fork out, if you want to eat well in sumptuous surroundings in Dublin City Centre. As guests of Thom Sehnert from Annie Gunns we were in the hands of a serious foodie and he was not disappointed either. The steaks were perfect and the tobacco onions were so good. With 5 kids who love steak too we... More

This was recommended to us by a local and it didn't disappoint. The food was great and the waitstaff was awesome. Prices are high, but the food quality was excellent. Although you could dress casual to go there, the clientele appeared to be more dressed up. Just a tip!

So what are you supposed to do when you're only in Dublin for one night? Do you research of where to eat! We booked a table at Dax, but contemplated heading to Aqua for some good seafood. However, our taxi driver recommended differently, stating everyone raved about Shanahan's on The Green, so we took the plunge... The restaurant is very... More

Best beef in Dublin is not an exaggeration. They also have a great wine list that will accommodate any wallet. So if your looking for a beef experience in Central Dublin, and prefer a restaurant with knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff, look no further than Shanahan's, and save room for delicious home made ice cream.

Do not hesitate in going to this restaurant. The best steaks in Ireland by far . Pricey but well worth it as a treat. Staff excellent. Get the fillet steak with crispy onion rings. To die for😄

Shanahan's ethos is simple and sophisticated. Your experience begins upon arrival. Enjoy an aperitif in the Oval Office bar.
