Went for lunch with friends, two of them got the chicken wings which they were pretty happy with. One got a vegetarian lasagna which was really really good. I got the chicken burger but have to say I wasn't very comfortable with the colour of the chicken in the middle of the burger so didn't eat it. The bar itself... More

A good central place to enjoy some fresh Irish No 1 oysters. What a pleasure to have them accompanied by a chilled Oyster Stout beer. Can get a little crowded.

Went here after reading TripAdvisor reviews. Very disappointed. Over priced average food and pricey drink but then that's what I've come to expect in Temple bar. Food had to be returned as it wasn't warm enough. Won't return.

Just perfect atmosphere with live music and great beer. We were in a Saturday night but I suppose that is the same in most of the days

I was doing a walking tour with my travel group, but decided to peel off and try this place. In a country dominated by the "Big 3" stouts, Harp, and Smithwick's, it was nice to try the local craft beer offerings. Needless to say, the beers here were spectacular. And they were made in the true Irish/UK style - no... More

Food was really good. Portions were huge! All very reasonably priced. The only thing was that it was difficult to get seated. Staff were not very helpful they told us to sit anywhere.. fine, but didn't make it clear that you can sit on the reserved tables if you are eating. So we spent a good 15 min wondering round... Had a wonderful experience drinking and dining in porterhouse, tried the hop head ipa which was delightful and the food was excellent to. The staff where very friendly and had a good knowledge of beer. I will defiantly be back the next time I'm in Dublin!

Great food and a huge selection of drinks including beers they brew themselves. Atmosphere was great and it was busy but didn't have too long to wait for a table which was nice. Was also very good value for good quality food particularly compared with some similar pubs in the area!
