We arrived at 8pm - just as they were closing the kitchen, but the manager made sure we were able to order dinner. Food was reasonably priced and delicious, lively atmosphere, & good service. Definitely recommend this place!

The Porterhouse is a great hangout spot with home brews and full bar. They have a great menu selection, we got several small plates so to try a variety. The service was remarkably fast, our waitress took the time to explain some of the items on the menu. There was also a live band.

The food is great! The close the big kitchen at about 10pm though. However I think you can still order fries/chips after that. The Live music is 7 days a week and all the bands/Musicians are really good! Beer Beer BEER!! Its hard to find good beers under one roof. This place has it! They do their own beers and... More

I went to the pub to have dinner with a couple of friends. We had a couple of burgers and steak sandwiches. The burger meat tasted like rubber and the sandwich steaks were extremely tough. We also ordered a Tom Collins which tasted like pure lemon with little or no alcohol. They did, however, get the lagers right. This is... More

This was the first restaurant we visited in Temple Bar, and we ended up going back for a second visit. Great atmosphere but noisy at night - the music and the crowd - but well run with good service, food, and drinks.

My husband and I saw that they had home-brewed craft beers, and we were instantly interested. We were not disappointed. Their home brews were AMAZING, and they have something for everyone (I recommend the Wrassler 4x--an excellent stout). If you don't happen to like their home brews, don't worry. They have an absolutely MASSIVE selection of quality beers from all... More

All the European friends who visit me (and Ireland) ask to go to Temple Bar. The one bar that has been a regular success is the Porterhouse. There is an immense selection of beers to choose from, and great live music. Will definitely keep returning (I still have many beers to taste!) there.

This was the last pub we visited in Dublin as we were recommended it by the tattooist we had been to see earlier in the day. Fiancé was very impressed as he will drink just about anything. He had the house red ale which is said was amazing. I had the orchard thieves cider as I'm a cider freak haha.... More

We visited Dublin in April and we completely fall in love with the town. It has a lot of beautiful things all around, and even if it's big, you don't get that i'm lost feeeling you can have while visiting london or others big and beautiful cities. We knew there was a porterhouse pub so we went to temple bar... More
