Our cab driver recommended O'Neill's for legit Irish food. It is cafeteria-style, with a nice variety of meats (beef, ham, chicken, lamb) and vegetables. We got a huge plate of pepper crusted roast beef and selected the mixed vegetables for under 13 Euro, and shared it.

O'Neill's on Suffolk Street is a quintessential Irish pub and carvery. Enter the bar and wind your way into the restaurant where you will stake out a table (put your jacket over a chair) and then head to the carvery where you can have all sorts of sandwiches, huge carvings of meat, cooked vegetables to add to everything, or raw... My BF and I came here to try pint of proper Irish Guinness and try some food. Atmosphere inside was amazing, very dark with lights around, stylish. Guinness was so smooth and nice not too bitter. We ordered Steak and mushroom pie which cost €10 each. The portions were quite big and the pie was amazing. Really enjoyed it

I wish we knew what the place was about before we walked in and it would been more enjoyable. You grab a tray and get your food first. Choose a meat or fish and then the sides which are then handed to you on a plate. You can also order things like Fish and Chips which they will bring to... More

Had carvery lunch here. Full dishes of meat and sides and tasty. The Pub is a labyrinth and it's a self-service place. Really good price for Dublin.

The four of us felt lost as we wandered from one room to another in search of a table and a helpful server. It was a busy evening and it took us a while to understand exactly what we needed to do to get our food and drinks. The guys and gals at the carvery have seemingly endured a lot... More

The food once we figured out the system was very good, even though my lamb roast wasn't the best. Everything else was very tasty at a reasonable price. The service was sub-par or MIA. Thank God it was self-service, because I would tip much here. The authentic Irish atmosphere was great. The wooden benches, leather couches and tiled stops to... More

We ent here on the recommendation of Our host. We were told to expect generous portions and that's exactly what we got. I had the made to order chicken baguette and it could feed two. My daughter had the roast beef carvery which she said was delicious and my husband had the lasagne, equally good. It is a busy place... More

My husband and I visited O'Neill's twice - once for drinks after dinner and once for breakfast. The service was good and the food was great as well. Nice atmosphere!

I visited with friends and found the pub heaving with customers. Getting a drink or food is not for the faint hearted. The pub is a maze of bars on a number of different levels. The interesting interior would not look out of place in a Dickens novel. Only visit in the tourist season if you have sharp elbows and... More
