I'm an O'Neill so I had to visit here. Awesome shepperd's pie! They serve A LOT so you won't leave hungry. The workers are very funny and welcoming.

O'Neills was recommended by our cab driver as one of the best places downtown near Trinity College and the Dublin Castle. It was very good as they really offer you self serve areas for sandwiches and also a buffet of many items that are hot for your lunch or dinner. The Bar has many beers on tap and there were... More

Self serve style pub with an excellent line up from the kitchen. Good atmosphere, quick but good place for supper.

We had 2 pints of Guinness, the Dublin Bay prawns and Fish&Chips. The portions of the food (especially the Fish&Chips) were enormous. Which is a good thing! The food was delicious and definitely worth the 13,50 per meal that we paid. The pub is very nicely decorated as well!

Great looking pub. All the effort has been put into this while staff training and systems have been neglected. Asked for a wine list at the bar and told we needed to go to another bar in the building for this. Then asked what sort of wines they had and were told with surliness "all" . Ended up with mini... This is a must go-to bar and restaurant! It is close to the touristy Temple Bar area but it doesn't have the Temple Bar tourist prices! We went for dinner and entertainment one night and went back for breakfast the next morning! The food is delicious and the portions are HUGE! Great entertainment - both the musicians and Irish dancers!

It was a great night out on Culture night and a good ending to our walk at O'Neills. We ordered Guinness and they poured it perfectly, very friendly even when it was so crowded we couldn't sit down. I highly recommend it for food as well before a night out. Definitely will come back again.

The Guinness was very good and if you like Guinness and cold school dinners this is the place for you. We went for dinner here on our last night in Dublin after a recommendation, it ruined our Dublin experience. It was packed with people whose hotel or tour guide had recommended it. It's food was so poor quality we couldn't... More

Perhaps O'Neill's is a victim of it's own longstanding success - packed with Americans looking for a place to sit, wondering how the carvery works. Once you figure out the protocols, and realize that the atmosphere really is the draw, you can relax and enjoy your lunch and your pint - except I couldn't really. The food was just a... More
