This is one of my favorite Pubs in Dublin. Great atmosphere, lots of history, great place to relax and have a pint !

Not the biggest pub in Dublin, but certainly the most popular, staff were brilliant, Guinness always half pulled just waiting for the customers, and the drink was far the most smoothest, no waiting to be served although the place gets full, needless to say we...More

Nice relaxing authentic Victorian Pub.Tourists check it out but the clientele is mostly locals. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than Temple Bar but still centrally located and within walking distance of night life.

A very old pub with many locals hanging out. One of those historic pubs of Dublin. We had great pints of G. I'd come hang out here with friends all the time if I lived in Dublin. Chill.

It was a little bit overcrowded, but the atmosphere was good. Lots of people laughing and drinking pints of guiness... it's a typical irish pub!

Great athmosphere (it's built in an old pharmacy), looooot's of beer and whiskey and no tourists. Almost only Dubliners. So perfect for a nice evening

This was just one stop on a pub crawl - and it was rather grand inside - lots of seating and very Victorian decor, but pretty authentic. And beer was good!

My absolute favourite pub in Dublin by a country mile! Gorgeous Victorian elegance combined with great service, lovely pints & nice clientele. Defo worth stopping by if you're in Dublin... Just don't tell you many people. Us Dubliners like to keep this one to ourselves...

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK). Back in the 80's a number of 'entrepreneur's' had the great idea of ripping the guts out of old bars like this and turning them into shiny wine bars selling fizzy concoctions with loud music blaring out ruining...More

The most beautiful pub we've visited during our 3 day trip to Dublin. Just outside the temple bar area which means you pay less and enjoy more. Especially the friendly Irish conversation.
