Had a fabulous meal in The Lobster Pot on 28/08/2020. We were a group of 3 who all had different meals from the A la carte menu. Each course was superb. Service was amazing. Great atmosphere. Covid regulations adhered to. Have dined here previously and...will definitely be back again.More

The Lobster Pot is fine dining with a classical twist and our meal for two was expensive but well worth the money - service was very good and atmosphere/surroundings really nice - we would recommend to dining experience !

We were a party of 6 with varied tastes and needs. I am a coeliac and pretty much anything I wanted could be prepared gluten free without any loss of flavour, (as is often the case at many restaurants). Michael and Gary were so attentive...and helpful with our choices and the meal did not disappoint from start to finish. It was a fantastic evening for everyone. I was also very impressed with all the safety measures throughout the restaurant. Dont hesitate to go. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!!!More

Visited here last night for staycation meal. Fresh ingredients, cooked and presented beautifully. A must for fish lovers but plenty of choice for someone looking for other options. Fantastic wine list. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend - well worth a visit. Little gem...in the heart of Ballsbridge. Will definitely returnMore

Upscale, old school dining experience. Delicious food and delightful service (and stories) from Michael. The early bird was a good value for 3 courses.

Four out of four starters not eaten - French onion soup, fish cakes and squid - inedible, stodgy not nice to eat. Main courses were better but cost of starters not removed from bill. Tables had a hardboard extension that was unstable and whole table...tipped up causing a glass of wine to cover one of the party and no one came to assist or clear up. Room upstairs smelt damp/musty. At least they tried to salvage our night be giving us a bottle of wine but don’t think it merits being in the top ten restaurants in Ballsbridge. Over priced food and wine.More
