We had a very nice lunch here one Sunday with a good variety on the menu and nicely cooked food (I hate lukewarm food)

We always wanted to go because we saw the decoration from outside and was curious about the food. I'll definitely recommend the 3 course menu. My boyfriend ordered as main course a duck confit that was delicious. Mine was chicken with smoked mashed potato, since the potatoes has a strong smoked flavor after a while you get nauseous taste. The... More

Came here with some friends for my birthday and we had a delicious meal. Food very tasty and reasonably priced. The walls are covered in old style paintings and "well-read" books which makes for a very intimate dining experience. Can't fault the service either!

After a morning of traipsing around Dublin City Centre. We needed a break to recoup and get some food. A great place to stop. The staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I recently visited The Green Hen for lunch, the selection on the early bird menu was great & it was exceptional value for money. Lovely quirky setting, with friendly, knowledgable & attentive staff. The sourdough bread was the best I've ever eaten, the food was very tasty & cocktails were nice. All in all, I highly recommend.

On a one day visit with a relative, her boss recommended this French restaurant in the south Templebar section of Dublin. Without a reservation, on a Wednesday evening, we were able to get a table, but told we could only stay till 8pm, so you might want to make a reservation there. We went up three flights of stairs to... More

We've been here a few times and always enjoy ourselves here. The service is great and very professional, and the ambiance is just lovely. The steak and seafood here are very high quality. Last time I had the roast hake fillet and it was exquisite! The charcuterie plate is also a favorite - their homemade breads are out of this... More

We ate at The Green Hen on a whim. The staff were lovely, but stretched a little thin. Our food came promptly and was very tasty - though I think my husband got the better dish with his duck! Very pleasant evening.

A very pleasant restaurant with charming staff and good service. Fun decor with photos of famous actors everywhere. Enough room between tables so one does not feel squashed or overheard. Oh yes, the food was excellent! We had the roast duck which had delicious sauces, and were relieved the plates were not piled with too much food. It was perhaps... More

Well we left "Canteen" restaurant beside this bar, still hungry, and so temped to eat again, but we had just eating thoe portions were not great, we refrained and just drank wine. There was a bar/waiter in this bar who showed personality and flair. Joined in on the conversation and prioritised his responsibilities also, he would come up ever 20... More
