We had wonderful food , beef medallion Boxty and Irish stew. They have their own house brew beer. A nice place to eat that’s not touristy near temple bar. Smaller inside. No live music fyi

I am so glad we tried this restaurant in Dublin. You have to have the boxty sharing plate to start with, it is so delicious. I had the trio of stews and I loved every single one of them, I couldn't pick a favourite. They...More

Good food but the service was really long. If you have a citysightseeing bus ticket, you can have 2 meals for 1.

I was satisfied with the Irish stew. The service was quite competent. The ambiance was good. Probably this place is no different from 30 other places in Temple Bar. I would not avoid it. I would not go again.

The decor is cute, and the service is friendly. They also sell boxty mix so you can make these traditional Irish potato pancakes at home if you wish. There are actually several menus to choose from depending on the time of day. There is an...More

We started our tour for appetizers at The Boxty House, where we enjoyed 3 different appetizers. Food was excellent, the wait staff personable and accommodating, and we would have returned for a meal, had we had time.

We picked this restaurant largely at random, but it was a fine choice. They get very busy between 6pm and 7pm, but it's worth the effort. Portion sizes are very generous and the Boxty (potato pancake) dishes are great.

I reserved several weeks in advance because I had only one night in Dublin. We were there during the week and there were some open tables, but I would recommend playing it safe and reserving.
