Frequent visitor to the bar and usually a,ways happy and friendly staff, but the last weekend in June , I dealt with a very rude bar man. He clearly did not want to be serving drinks on this day. His attitude sucked and he seemed like he couldn't care about looking after customers. I witnessed a customer ask him for... More

Really great bat with helpful staff and very courteous clientele. The music was good and not too loud so you could still have a conversation. The cocktails were divine ....some may say expensive but it is Dublin and you pay for were you drink. ..yes I would return in a heart beat. .. Dan

This review may not reflect the "typical" ambience of the Front Lounge, as I was only ever there in the late afternoon, when it was very quiet. At that hour (between 3 pm and 6 pm) it's the perfect place to chill out. I went there a few times during my recent trip to Dublin, and loved it every time.... More

Arrived with friend and had pint and cocktail My friends beer wasn't great so he changed it at the bar however the replacement one was just as bad. Surprise surprise the barman refused point blank to change it again for a different typescript beer . He was aggressive and rude into the bargain. Nothing would change his mind and we... More

The Front Lounge caters to upscale career people and seems to attract a more feminine crowd. It has a boutique and cozy atmosphere with chandeliers and antique plaster casts. It now serves food making it a great place to start your night out before going dancing. Drinks are on the expensive side though. If you decide to stick around, you... More

This pub recently had a revamp and it's looking smart again. It has been attracting a gay crowd for over 20 years now. It's a good people watching spot.

The Front Lounge I suppose is a nice enough space if you want to avoid the livelier and more youthful vibe of The George or Panti Bar. I enjoyed my visits here, but I will always remember it where I had a terrible tasting pint of Guinness that was sickly sweet. The bartenders are nice and the crowd is nice.... More

Attended the front lounge on Saturday night for a Xmas night out with friends and was greeted by the rudeness bar manger of my life. I regularly drink in there with friends but after Saturday night I will be taking my business else where along with my friends. It's the first time ever I have been kicked out of a... More
