Visited twice for breakfast whilst staying in Temple Bar. Delicious fresh orange juice and an excellent choice of hot and cold breakfasts. I was slightly disappointed on our first visit as my poached eggs were not runny as I'd asked for, but the food was delicious nevertheless (especially the hash browns) and my friends were impressed, so we returned the... Recolmended this place by a friend and really glad we waited to for a table to eat there. It's very popular so book ahead but if you haven't, we were able to put our name down for later on in the night and we went for a drink. The chicken wings are incredible!!! So so tasty, definitely get them. I... More

This was our last dinner on our Irish holiday and really enjoyed it. Our wait for dinner was short since we didn't reserve prior. Had a couple of pints and a goat cheese spaghetti, all very good. We shared a desert since the portion is quite big. The service was very good by wait staff, food again very good and... More

Have been here a few times and have always found it good.Staff are excellent and good variety of food.Only downside is that most times you call it is full and you have to call back in an hour but they are very good at getting people in and out.Good for groups or family

My wife had the pancakes and they were fluffy and delicious. I had the steak and scrambled eggs with a side of sausage and all were great. The price was around 30 euros but worth it as it is much better than most other fry ups I have had in Dublin.

E&C has been around for a good 20 years and never fails. Reasonably priced comfort food, chicken wings to die for, omelettes, burgers, chips, salads, brunch. Very good waiting staff, a lovely light filled room, it's a treasure.

Have been meaning to go here for wings for years, lots of people have said that they are good. Not sure if I built it up too much or whatever but am sad to say that they are just OK 3 star wings. The portion size was good and the sauce was good but the wings were a over cooked:(... More

My wife and I were searching for a quiet spot for brunch and fortunately happened upon The Elephant and Castle. Neat and minimalist in decor, the cafe is ably staffed with friendly, helpful servers. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. Freshly squeezed orange juice, a lovely omelette and some of the most scrummy French Toast that I have... More

Myself and my partner ate at E&C Thursday just gone and as usual we weren't disappointed. We were served by a young, brown haired Irish girl who was extremely friendly and helpful to us for the entire meal. The wings were as tasty as ever and we will definitely be back again the next time we are in the city centre.

Third time eating here. Love the are its situated in. There is always a waiting list for a table unless pre booked. I have had the same dish 3 times the famous chicken wings -undoubtedly the best in Dublins fair city. There is a great selection on the menu, something for everyone. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. Will... More
