Our cabbie from the airport highly recommended Roly's and we now know why. This dual-restaurant is close to the Royal Dublin Society. Our dinner was quite enjoyable and the steady stream of locals buying prepared foods from the cooler was a testimony to the quality. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the smells emanating from the restaurant at all... More

Had an early Sunday night supper here, just the two of us, at the close of the Dublin Horse Show 2016. Just a short walk from the show at the Royal Dublin Society or the Intercontinental Hotel it is always buzzy with attentive service and good food. Never disappoints! Highly recommend!

We were a large group and had fortunately booked a table. The food was good and all came at the same time. A good atmosphere but not too noisy! Great fish pie, fish and chips, scampi and crab claws! Good steak too I am assured! The children, and adults loved the puds; having a couple of small treats was perfect!

We are staying out in simmonscourt and decided to give this place a try. We ate in the cafe part. Food was lovely and the atmosphere was nice, cooked fresh and portions are a decent size. Nice place and child friendly and good value for money.

It's been a while since we visited Rolys. It hasn't changed. Same impeccable service, same perfectly cooked food, same generous portions. We had forgotten one of the essential tricks for truly enjoying a meal there. On arrival they ambush you with delicious fresh baked bread. If you can't make yourself refuse, you must not let them press you to take... More

Even if you are staying in one of the better hotels in the area, you have to have breakfast at Roly's. It offers traditional full irish but also healthier options. And it all looks and tastes good (as evidenced by empty plates all round). The ambiance is one of happiness, people enjoying being here, and friendly smiling helpful staff.

Food was great. Great service with great waiters. Meat was tender and juicy and served at a plentiful portion!!! The cnidarians were VERY scrumptious. Furthermore, my dessert was great it danced in my tummy !!!!!!! I asked for soya with my coffee any the waiter did a TESCO run. It was superb with reasonable prices and great three course options... We were staying at Ballsbridge and some of our local friends recommended Roly's Bistro. This is a tiny place near the Dodder river right on R118 at Ballsbridge. It has two floors. We were there for dinner on a weekday. Food is tasty and the staff helps you to choose what you'd like. I helped myself with some salads, traditional... More

Roly's Bistro opened in Dublin in November 1992 and quickly became one of the city's busiest and best loved restaurants. Its reasonably-priced menu and wine list together with a casual, light-hearted atmosphere made it an instant hit with everybody from romantic couples to families, from business executives to local and visiting celebrities. Today, a team of 27 chefs serve freshly-cooked food to over three thousand people a week without compromising on quality and standards. Fresh heated bread is baked daily in the bakery.
