I’ve always wanted to go to RPG and it didn’t disappoint. Went the whole hog and got the 8 course tasting menu - was definitely worth it. Amuse bouche, 4 starters, main, cheese and 2 deserts, with petit fours and truffles as well, of course!!!...More

OK so it's a bit special and you might only visit once. So be it, make sure you do. Lunch is a treat for the senses, not just the food but the ambience and the sense of style. Indulge yourself, drink that extra special wine...More

Me and my daughter stopped for lunch during a short visit to Dublin. The restaurant from the outside might just be missed, but once you walk in, you know RPG is special. I enjoyed the prix fix menu and my daughter enjoyed the ala carte...More

We visited Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud for a long lunch with a birthday party of six and left extremely happy. There’s always some trepidation when visiting such a highly-rated restaurant, mainly that it might not be up to scratch. It’s almost as if the bar is...More

Lovely staff! Not fussy in any way which was great but the food was quite old fashioned and not jumping with flavour. There are far more exciting and flavoursome restaurant experiences to be had for a €300 meal for two!! Ticked it off the list.....More

Dined here tonight with friends from England.I feel the meal was prepared with clinical precision of an appendectomy.I expected artistic presentation, colours, textures, depth and subtlety in flavours on every account I was left disappointed. There was no wow factor.no creativity.I was looking at an IKEA print of...More

You can assume it will be expensive - probably similar to the cost of the food.

It's always better to go to a nice place on your own than NOT go there, so yes, do it.

I´ve only dined at the restaurant once, and then I saw people with everything from suits to denim. It´s fine dining so I will not recommend jeans, but if you must then at least wear dark ones and a shirt. Enjoy your visit :)
