What an experience! This had it all. Sweet and savoury. Highlights: duck egg mayonnaise in brioche buns; salmon, chicken and ham with mustard finger sandwiches; tasty scones with clotted cream; batten-burg style cakes based on current art work. There was even a second course of Art Tea where the chef designed a trio of desserts based on some of the... More

This is a two star Michelin fine dinning experience where you feel well looked after, no rush, fabulous service and beautiful top quality food. The restaurant has been closed for a couple of months for refurbishment and is due to open again shortly in November 2016. I'm looking forward to going back again.

We love this place. The staff are just fantastic and the food is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. They have an amazing wine list. I visit two to three times a year and it is a must for all visitors to Dublin!

In a very fashionable part of south Dublin city. Fantastic for a very special occasion. Welcoming and friendly might be a bit too formal for some. Truly excellent.

Very fine service; both elegant and friendly, which is not an easy combination to master. Most dishes were beautiful and delicious, and some were actually amazing; however, overall, we felt that more than a few times the natural purity of the very fine Irish ingredients was somewhat masked by slight over-seasoning and over-buttering and creaming, as well as by overly... This is the pinnacle of gastronomy in Ireland. Its not gimmicky its bold classic high end cuisine and service. I understand what it takes to make a place like this run day in and out to this level. It aint easy to achieve this consistant results and I tip my hat to that. I am particularly impressed with the presentation,... More

I have eaten many times at Patrick Guilbaud's and the standard has never dropped. The food is excellent, the service is perfect and the ambiance correct. This is how you run a restaurant, and how you keep your 2 Stars, first class in every way. You have to eat here

I have eaten in this restaurant a few times, and every time it does not cease to amaze me. From the excellent service and the staffs knowledge of all the food to the impressive wine menu... The attention to detail is absolutely outstanding, not to mention the food. Myself and my friends were greeted at the reception where we were... More

Ate here while staying at the adjacent Merrion Hotel, as a birthday celebration. Expected the best and received it. Service and food were exemplary. As a little bonus Patrick Guilbaud was around that night and introduced himself. Yes, it's fairly expensive but overall "value for money" and worth every penny (cent).

Eating at Patricks was My wife and I's main treat for our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. We had the 8 course taster menu with wine course and the whole evening was exquisite. We had no idea what to expect from each course, only the cutlery laid down for each course gave any clues as to what would be arriving... More
