We had lunch. No, We were treated like gods for two hours. There appeared to be one member of staff on the floor for every customer. Yet, they were not over-attentive, something i hate. The food was amazing- small portions presented like a work of...More

A group of 12 of us visited the restaurant last week (for a birthday celebration) and everyone loved it. Amazing food, great service, and a very nice wine list. I am pretty sure this is one of the very best restaurants we have visited across...More

Patrick Guilbaud is the gourmet restaurant in Merrion hotel but there is no hotel restaurant about it what so ever it is a real attempt of creating a French Michelin star gourmet restaurant in Ireland. Overall the impression is very good, the atmosphere is pleasant...More

We visited Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud for a long lunch with a birthday party of six and left extremely happy. There’s always some trepidation when visiting such a highly-rated restaurant, mainly that it might not be up to scratch. It’s almost as if the bar is...More

It's always better to go to a nice place on your own than NOT go there, so yes, do it.

I´ve only dined at the restaurant once, and then I saw people with everything from suits to denim. It´s fine dining so I will not recommend jeans, but if you must then at least wear dark ones and a shirt. Enjoy your visit :)
