Quick snack while sightseeing in Cork. We ordered the pistachio and cookies & cream gelato. They offer various toppings, waffle cones and they make crepes also.
Thanks so much Twinmom8!
My husband and I are from California and visited Dublin in May 2022. I saw people walking around Temple Bar and the shopping district with small waffle cones full of good looking ice cream or gelato. Wasn't sure. I was pretty hungry late one morning...walking to the museum and found Gino's on the corner. (Very cute! Very spotless! Colored lights on the high ceiling and a row of little Vespas as seats.) I got to the counter just as the server was placing a fresh tray of Nutella gelato in the cooler. I ordered a small waffle cone and small size gelato. Oh. My. God! it was...heaven. We live in coastal California and have been to two shops that bought their gelato making equipment in Italy and serve fantastic gelato. But this...this...was just on another level. Please, Gino, come to California!More
Well that is an invite we are DELIGHTED to get. Thank you so much fro your amazing review- we are so thrilled you loved Gino's. We focus on using the highest quality ingredients and organic Irish milk along with authentic Italian methods - making that...More
Ok, I typically stay AWAY from desserts, but Gino's is an exception to that rule! I could not stop thinking about the Crunch flavor so much so that it was all I wanted our last night in Dublin. I liked every flavor I tried.
The ice cream was really good and those who took crepes loved it. The location is perfect unfortunately you can’t sit and eat as the place is small however the ice cream is totally worth it
Great tasting waffle and I saved it for the last day and I'm so glad I did. The Pistachio one was lovely and my partner had the white Kinder Bueno one. Only downside was they were quite sickly
0ctober 24th Sunday, came to Ginos at Junction 14 with plans to use our bounce her for a ‘ buy one get one free’ waffles. There was no waffle mixture available and we were offered the crepe instead. The service was excellent and the server...went above snd beyond. Wanted to say thanks and we’ll done on providing great service.More
I am very dissatisfied with the service. I asked for a small scoop of ice cream but in a large cone ... Unfortunately, the seller charged a fee for a large portion of ice cream. It wasn't my first visit and I was never treated...like that.More
We visited this place at the evening time, there was a great selection of ice creams, crepes etc, I had the milkshake which was ok, it’s not very expensive there so I can’t really moan. I would call in again, it would be great for...kidsMore
Not a pleasant experience. 2 different staff members interrupted us to ask about covid vaccinations -no problem here. The problem was we produced our written vaccine record and ID but because it didn't have a QR code, wasn't acceptable. Discriminates against NI vaccines and anyone...without an electronic cert .More
I visited Ginos with some friends today, the lady who served us was lovely, the ice-cream was beautiful and the service was of course fantastic! The place was also very clean
Joy' the guy that made our crepes in howth was absolutely lovely ,so funny, my son loved him. Also he makes the best crepes they were delicious. Will be back again soon. Thanks Joy
Gino's gelato gets you as by the time you get to the counter you say Ah well then choosing pistachio is 50 cent extra, the ice-cream is just alright not mind-blowing, so realising you could get a pint of haagen Daz or Ben n Jerry's...for the price of a single scoop Gino's cone, makes you think there has to be a better way to sell icecreams to the people.More
Ginos has friendly staff but the prices are so expenseive and not worth it my family were looking for coconut ice cream or mango but there wasn't any . The crops were 8 euro which was a RIP off I would not recommend it
I tried Gino's few times. I have to say that was really nice! Seemed to be in Italy, real lovely ice-cream 😊 great job guys!
