Been to this great Italian restaurant on a work trip with my colleague. We were well served by the staff, had super attention and amazing dishes. Will come again and tell my friends & colleagues! I recommend Oysters & Sirloin Steak. Fantastic Sauvignon Blanc served with it. Grazie x la Vostra ospitalita'!

Flat-out, hands-down, the best Italian restaurant in Dublin! Don't bother with the menu - just listen to the specials and they will make pretty much anything you want with the fresh ingredients they have! If you're in Dublin, this is a must..!

This has to be the best authentic Italian restaurant in Dublin surely! When you arrive in the door, you immediately feel like you’ve just walked into “a little bit of Italy.” The first thing you see is the large fish tank with live lobster and day fresh fish. All of the staff were fantastic. Our waiter was Francesco and ran... More

"Is this a tourist trap?", I asked myself as I left the restaurant. My mum and I chose to dine here based on the rave reviews. The waiters were friendly and helpful. I had scallops to start...bland, as another reviewer wrote. The scallops were lost under a heap of breadcrumbs which lacked real flavour. It was most definitely the worst... More

My wife booked two restaurants on a 2 day break to Dublin. The first was The Larder where on the first night we had a fab meal at a good price. The meal we really looked forward to on the second night was at The Rosa Madre. I don't understand why in a practically empty restaurant we are seated next... More

We went with friends who'd been sent (by an Italian pal) because this is the best Italian in Dublin and we weren't disappointed. The selection of fresh seafood from the fish counter was wide and very high quality. Every dish was imaginative and really well executed. The wine list is comprehensive and fair value by Dublin standards. The staff were... More

My fiancé and I had a special night here over Christmas. We concentrated on the seafood options. We had a succulent roasted whole sea bream, spicy mussels with tomatoes and white wine sauce and pasta with clams. It was my fiancé's birthday and the staff were very accommodating with a surprise tiramisu and limoncello, as well as ensuring a quiet... More

The staff, the food, the atmosphere; it wont get any better than this if you're looking for an all italian experience. The first thing you'll meet is the tank filled with live lobsters and the ice packed, day fresh, fish. They use only the finest and freshest of ingredients and all of the staff, including chefs are italian. All of... More

I highly recommend this place for seafood. We had some delicious tuna, scallop and pranws. Also the pasta is really really good.

Description
Rosa MADRE has a great history ... Started in 2010 was only a little cafe selling quality italian coffee... By the time the passion of the owners and the staff this small cafe expanded and became today a full restaurant with more than 80 seats... How they did ? Well the most important thing for us is the food! The ingredients are every day fresh the owner Luca check every day all the delivery and make sure that only the best will be used by the Chef Francesco Mambelli .... Recently they started to serve the most amazing fresh fish cooked in the italian way which means very simple trying to preserve the real flavour of the fish ... In fact you can find every day lobster , sea bass ,turbot ,prawns squid and a lot more ... Come to try us and you will find out what the real italian food is all about!
