We were delighted with the freshness and preparation of food which was comparable with good restaurants in Italy. Fish appetizers and mains were delicious (we had tuna carpaccio and fish baked in salt). Although fish a speciality, good choice of pastas and meats. Service was attentive; atmosphere lovely--- tables well spaced, soft music. Nonetheless, casual dress was fine. Prices very... More

I was invited to Rosa Madre for a special birthday treat and I was genuinely impressed. If you read my other reviews you will have noted my gripe about vegetarians always getting saddled with pasta, but in this place I was the happiest person at the table because my ricotta & truffle ravioli with parmesan cream was a taste sensation.... This is a very authentic Italian restaurant with its primary focus on seafood in beautiful surroundings. The prawn and squid starter was exquisite, try the lemon infused olive oil with it, amazing! The chicken main dish was very tasty but somewhat overpowered by the rosemary on the potatoes so I would perhaps try one of the fish specials on my... More

My husband is from the south of Italy on the coast. The food we had was as good as if not better than anything I have eaten in Italy on our many visits. Fish and seafood exceptional! Before I left booked for a very special lunch as was so good!

Husband and l visited for a three o' clock lunch after a morning in the city. We were impressed by how sincere and passionate the manager was regarding the quality and provenance of his ingredients. The open kitchen allowed us to view the chefs calmly and happily at work. The food was pure Italian with excellent ingredients expertly cooked. Rosa... More

This is without doubt the best Italian Restaurant in Dublin. Superb Dublin bay Prawns a carpaccio of tuna which was the best I've eaten a delicious crab pasta and some of the best cheeses I have eaten anywhere. The staff are lovely. If you fell on this restaurant in Rome you would think you had died and gone to heaven.... More

Decided to try this restaurant after viewing the menu outside, luckily we managed to get a table on a very busy Tues night. Fantastic staff, food very very tasty, only let down by the tepid side orders. Could have been helped by having the plates heated.

Fresh fish, good pastas and nice hosts. We came back twice . Also reasonable prices. Just remember to reserve your table up front on busy days or you might be disappointed...

I have been to Rosa Madre many times and love that they keep updating their menu and have a selection of unique dishes that can't be found in other italian restaurants while staying authentic. The staff is extremely nice and so is the manager. Pasta and fish dishes are freshly made and delicious.

Rosa MADRE has a great history ... Started in 2010 was only a little cafe selling quality italian coffee... By the time the passion of the owners and the staff this small cafe expanded and became today a full restaurant with more than 80 seats... How they did ? Well the most important thing for us is the food! The ingredients are every day fresh the owner Luca check every day all the delivery and make sure that only the best will be used by the Chef Francesco Mambelli .... Recently they started to serve the most amazing fresh fish cooked in the italian way which means very simple trying to preserve the real flavour of the fish ... In fact you can find every day lobster , sea bass ,turbot ,prawns squid and a lot more ... Come to try us and you will find out what the real italian food is all about!
