My family had lunch at Cafe Joly while on a genealogical research trip to Ireland. The sandwiches and soups were delicious and the service was excellent. It's a great place to have lunch when visiting the National Library of Ireland.

Handy location in Kildare Street. Met a friend here and we had a great big pot of tea and scones - which were very good. Pleasant staff and surroundings. Much better than many of the busy coffee shops nearby.

I phoned before arriving and they very kindly reserved some tables for our group of 15. We all chose what we wanted and food was brought to our table very quickly. Very highly recommended. We will be back.

Very nice cafe in The National Library. Come in door. Turn right. Amazing soup and quiches with tasty salads. Self service. It gets very busy at lunch. People know a good spot. I do too.
