My fiancée and I took in the true Irish experience for St. Patrick's Day in Dublin. We visited many of the famous pubs (including Temple Bar and the Norseman) but the atmosphere, price and authenticity of the Celt was by far the best Dublin had to offer! Whether is be the stories from the locals or belting out a great... More

Good food, good drink and good music. What more can you really ask for? The staff were all friendly and the pints were about 5 euro which seems to be around average for the area. The atmosphere was amazing!

We had a fabulous evening at The Celt. We asked to reserve a table in the bar area for 7pm and arrived to find it ready & waiting. We ordered food which was good (Irish Stew) and stayed for several more hours enjoying the live music and ambience. This place offers a great atmosphere & a good pint.

Great place and great time...Food and people watching have helped with my writer's block. Have enjoyed the staff and drinks galore. And the best part is the guesthouse is within walking distance.

We were staying at the Dublin Central Inn which is a few minutes walk to the pub. We didn't go here until the last night we were in town, but we wished we would have gone there every night! Great fun with the locals and it was over St. Patrick's Day and the Ireland rugby team had just beat the... More

Going here is a must! Every night they have live music and the drinks are reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I are backpackers with a budget and came to the celt on numerous occasions.

What a lovely traditional Irish pub. The music was great. The drinks were good too. Their food is tradional pub food and was lovely. Great atmosphere that kept us there all night. Really worth a visit

After 4 trips to Dublin and several visits to the Celt, I still find this genuine brown Irish Pub a fresh breath in the countless hours of walking. We've been visiting the Celt on our last 3 trips and are still picking this charming pub when we want a cold pint and a good meal. Decent prices on drinks and... More

We had a lovely meal here on our first night in Dublin. Everything about The Celt was exceptional from the food to the décor and interesting photos and object d'artes on and around the walls, to the wonderful staff and of course the Guinness. There was live music and we were able to have a great sing-along.
