Some up and down reviews on here, our experience was superb, a funky restaurant, right in the lively centre of Dublin, DJ playing at the top of the stairs, staff explained the different cuts of meat perfectly! Good choice of drinks, great service, superb food , booking seems essential due to the numbers being disappointed at the door, check out... More

Stopped here for brunch before a rugby game. Nice staff very accommodating, lovely take on classic breakfast/ lunch fare. Really enjoyed. Good coffee.

This was our second visit having really enjoyed our first a while ago. There where six of us on this visit, table booked for 7.30 and we where seated promptly when we arrived, have been some comments on here about service, but we cannot fault it on either of our visits. We had learnt from our last visit that portions... More

Have visited here for lunch every couple of months for the last 2/3 years and have to say that the lunch deal represents good value for money at €10 for a minute steak (c.6 Oz) & fries. The steak comes with a nob of garlic & the meal is sufficient for a lunch offering with the fries being nice as... More

I ordered million dollar fries, green salad and the lamb ribs. Table was booked for 5:30 and the restaurant was quiet but it still took over an hour for the food to arrive. The lamb ribs were inedible as there was so much fat on them and in the dim light it was actually hard to find any meat.. I... More

I found this to be a really cool, 'hip' restaurant on South William Street. There was a nice selection of different steaks to choose from and the waitress was very helpful in describing all the different cuts of meat (she even drew us a few diagrams) I ordered the rump steak with a tarragon red wine garlic butter and it... Bear Is what I would call a quirky place. The decor was unusual but worked and was a good atmosphere. The menu choice is not extensive, and mainly is steak. The steak itself was good with the sides. I enjoyed the experience ,something different, it was expensive in my opinion so that is why I couldn't give a 5 rating.... More

My friend and I had a deplorable experience which was topped off when Joe the manager called regarding my email complaint. He was so rude interrupting the two sentences I tried to make and seemed to be surprised I had an issue with a sticky dirty wine glass , a featherblade steak with more fat than meat (that even the... We had this on our list because we love Anthony Bourdain and it was featured on The Layover - he knows his stuff. We went on a Tuesday around 6pm and walked right in. We had the flank steak for two and the side of beans & side of cauliflower with cheese. Everything is a la cartel so we were... More
